Steamed veggies side had just enough spices to make them really tasty with out overpowering the veggie's taste. The double decker Turkey and Swiss club was really stacked high - had half a sandwich left for dinner. Nice to have a restaurant back in the marina.”

The chicken tasted like plastic toy chicken, like the one you play with in preschool. I drank the best Long Island Ice Tea ever!! Hence the four stars! You MUST try this drink here. “We stopped at Jack and Harry's because they were open today as the storm approached the Island which was basically closed. Courtney, the Manager/Partner, was simple amazing. She opened this morning and called her staff and asked who wanted to work. She was overwhelmed with support from her staff and was able to handle a unprecedented amount of patrons. With a limited Kelsey's Pizza menu, and a truly vibrant staff, and Mike behind the bar on his day off, we were able to have a truly memorable afternoon. From me to you, thank Courtney and your staff. As I said to her, your staff responded in an amazing way because she was an amazing leader. Will definitely be coming back.”

“Breakfast at Island Gecko Grill, Merritt Island, following a 5K at Field Manor. Staff was friendly. Initially had a mix up ordering sweet tea. Seems the dispensers were marked the opposite of what they contained and wait staff was not aware. Not a problem though, the unsweet was swapped out for good sweet tea. I had the Spinach, tomato, and feta omelette with grits and a biscuit. The omelette was very tasty and the biscuit was large and light. The Eggs Florentine, my wife's selection, was also prepared perfectly. She got her Gecko Spots (tater tots) to go, so they're not in the picture. I would definitely recommend Island Gecko Grill for breakfast any day.”

The staff is friendly as evidenced by the large number of regulars called by name. Restrooms on this visit were clean. Restroom care is always a great barometer to overall cleanliness. They are doing a good job! Window blinds were mostly shut making the restaurant look closed. Almost didn’t stop. Glad I did. GoyoGTO recommends a try, let them know I influenced your decision.
