Great place to take the scout and a good laugh watching place and visit NASA. Noseeums are prevalent there, but manageable.

Nice place for organized groups to gather. Check with the refuge authority.

It is a great space to hold an educational event with a covered space, restrooms, picnic tables and fire ring with seating. There is ample space to move activities around the space. Camping is available for qualifying groups. Talk to Ranger Tod for permits and access, he is also a great person to talk about the park with. For educational opportunities and a link to programs within the refuge, ask for Ranger Courtney, she is s great resource.

Reserved for scouts only. This was a very nice camp ground. Great access to fishing in the river. The options for hiking are a bit slim as it seems a hike is limited to the river, around the loop and back or drive to one of the trails nearby. Will definitely plan on camping here again. If you go, prepare for the no-see-ums and skeeters. Beautiful location

Like to stop here for a break while riding. Quiet and relaxing.
