Excellent!!! Well worth it. And, the guides are amazing. By the end of the tour, you will have no question unanswered.

At first I was disappointed in the up close tour as I did not believe it offered much more then the free tour which is complimentary with KSC admission. But by the end of the tour I fully realized it was fully worth the extra money. The first difference was the addition of a tour guide who was very passionate and knowledgeable off all things relating to the the history of NASA and the launch complex. She would answer question and give excellent commentary. Second was the number of times we stopped at various point of interest on the cape. We were allowed to get off the bus and see things you could not on the free tour. Great tour worth the price.

Watching a shuttle launch during the hay days of the Space Shuttle program was the best feeling ever. I used to visit KSC at least 3-4 times a year. Not so much after the shuttle program ended. Finally got to go to KSC after a few years. Good to see that the private space companies are breathing a second life to KSC. There are more additions to the visitors center. More things to see and do. However the shuttle Atlantis and the Apollo center are the all time favorites.
