  Small park, but very cute! Many cool rocks & short paths. Someone left, Cutter bug spray, for everyone, to use. Very cool!! It's free!

  One of my absolute favorite places to walk - quiet, relaxing, and serene ... and sometimes you see wildlife too! The trails are very well maintained and traveled. They have a good population of gopher tortoises and even have hatchlings that are visible from time to time. They also occasionally have nice events! We saw a Shakespeare in the park performances here done by the local community college and have also heard Native American flute performers here.

  Excellent park for a walk! These paths are very well maintained and are excellent for toddlers to be out in nature. Not stroller friendly but they are the perfect length to stretch your little ones legs. My daughter’s favorite part is walking over the bridges!

  This is a very beautiful and peaceful sanctuary to enjoy nature and wildlife. There are several different trails. I only walked two trails but will be returning to experience the others. Additionally, this sanctuary is also great for nature photography and general relaxation. My time here was exceedingly pleasant and serene.

  Great place to take the family for a few hours on a leisurely stroll. The trail was passable for an 11 year old girl, a 37 year old man coming off back surgery, a healthy 33 year old man and a 63 year old grandmother with a cane. The longest trail was only a mile or so in length and there were plenty of benches to sit and relax. The pathway was natural ground (no cement sidewalks). The trails consisted of hard-packed dirt, fresh, moist, soft soil, and sandy beach like ground. The temperature was cool with overcast cloud covering and most of the trail is canopied by the trees reducing the amount of direct sunlight that reaches you. Only one or two trails proved to be too difficult for those with mobility issues due to steep trails and high steps to the bottom of the ravine.
  After the hike the visitor center provided an air conditioned building with a water fountain and gift shop as well. There are plenty of exhibits to view for both the little ones and adults alike. Their is a nice microscope and plenty of objects to view under magnification. In the back of the visitor center is a classroom for learning and activities for the little ones to enjoy themselves in Sundays.
  Overall great experience for the family. Would not make this the “main attraction” for the day unless you live in the local area. For those who are traveling to the local area this is a must see place to relax the spirit and mind and reconnect with nature before continuing on your travels.
