Great spot to hang out, camp, watch people get propelled to outer space. YOU KNOW, THE USUAL.
(February 14, 2023, 9:35 am)The launch got scrubbed when we were there, but this is a great public spot to watch a daytime SpaceX rocket launch from launch complex 40. The center of the bridge has to be more than 100 feet above water level. Parking at both ends of the bridge. From parking, it is about a half-mile walk up to the center of the bridge. (September 10, 2020, 12:48 pm)Great spot to fish, drop your boat, explore and enjoy the great outdoors. FWC has an office located on premises. They are always a great help for keeping you informed and up to date on all regulations and rules.
