Croom Wildlife Management Area

Nice place to get out and ride ATV. 40 minutes or so from Tampa. Clean, friendly staff, and easy to get in and out of. Well marked trails and plenty of room to park truck and trailer and ride till your tired. Clean facilities and pavilions with BBQ grills. Worth the yearly pass for myself.

This is an excellent place for riding off-road dirt bikes and atvs only. It's 2600 acres of fun filled trails, with lots of sand and some old mine pits that have some technical hills. This is one of my favorite places to ride, and i have been riding in 14 states. There are a couple of beginner areas for kids. The campground has water with 30/50 amp. Also, bath house and a dump station. Dogs are Not Allowed. It's well managed with friendly rangers that have responded quickly to any issues. I have been coming to this place for over 50 years, and I always have a great time.

This is a beautiful WMA. There's an amazing array of marked trails to explore and enjoy here, which include dedicated trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. It's a funfabulous place to get out in nature to enjoy the forest. This park is a real treasure in Central Florida. 😃👍

It is a beautiful, fun, outdoor place to ride dirt bikes, off road vehicles, Jeep, horses, bicycles… We took a Jeep and had a blast! Mud holes, and hill climbing were on our agenda! Check it out!

I went for the loop hike here and it was quite enjoyable. This area has some of the greatest inclines and declines in Florida going up and down the hills was real fun. The trail markings did a decent job but I wish their maps had color coding and more naming on the trails. The place also has a portion of the Withlacoochee state bike trail that is well paced and straight the whole way. All in all the place has a lot to offer for the outdoorsy type just except being able to find what you need by yourself
