“Even tho the place is neat and well-done, it smelled like someone took a massive 💩in the bushes and on the corner of the court”

“I came here to propose to my previously girlfriend now wife :). The first thing I really wanted to mention is that Jocelyn was incredibly nice and unknowingly made our experience even more special (she did not know that I had planned to propose). She was so kind and went the extra mile to make our experience nice and more enjoyable. As we were walking away we had talked about how nice she was and how we appreciated her. So much so that I spoke to her manager about it and also decided to write this review (quite frankly she is probably the main reason we are giving 5 stars). Jocelyn, if you end up reading this: That moment you had spoke about when you had sat in your car and thought about your life. I think you made the right decision and my wife and I are grateful for your kindness that day that we couldn't stop talking about you and how you had made us really happy. We truly want the best for you and all your future endeavors! Regarding Butterfly World Itself: The pricing is a little high in my opinion per ticket ($32.50 + tax per person). However since it's one of those things you want to experience at least once it's a little more acceptable. We expected the place to be a little bigger since it touts the title of being the largest butterfly park in the world but in the main screened off area there are certainly more butterflies than we've ever seen in one place. Don't go when it rains, apparently they fly around a lot less during that time. We were able to go during a good time and they were flying everywhere so it was a neat sight to see especially for my wife who LOVES butterflies.”

“Beautiful boardwalk through the cypress forest. Did it twice it was so good, and saw an armadillo! Great service at the interpretive center, and a beautiful place to spend an hour. However, their wading bird walk is disappointingly short, about 200 ft at best, without a great view of the small pond/canal either. No wading birds at 4pm in January, which wasn't too surprising, but I felt the map implied the walk would have been longer and closer to a larger body of water.”

“Very nice park for kids. They have pony rides and a train ride on the third weekend of the month. They also have a petting zoo. They also have nice shade trees over the playground area. The only thing that I can think of that maybe could be improved is if they put down the astroturf instead of having sand at the playground, but that’s a minor detail.”

“I went with my son and grandson to go and kick the soccer ball around. The girl at the guardhouse was quite nice and only charged my son to get into the park. We appreciated her kindness very much!”
