“One of the most beautiful parks in Broward County. I have seen the beautiful birds 🐦, peacocks. Discovered by accident they offered free PCR COVID TESTING VIA CAR DRIVE THROUGH. Very organized and wait time was approximately 5 min per car. There were 12 cars ahead of . While you wait you don’t notice the time because of the great scenery. There were 10 tents that take your information then you drive to quality control then to a larger tent were they insert a swab in your mouth. The results take 2-5 days . I really respected all the employees , very professional”

“This is one of my favorite spots in South Florida. It's so relaxing to watch the planes fly. The park is amazing and you can ride your bike around then stop in, sit in the shade, get water and watch. And you just might get the urge to join in and start flying. They have swap meets ever so often to help get you started. Highly recommend stopping by and watching.”

“It is a beautiful, well maintained park. On one side is sort of a lake (not for use) that has a lovely wooden walkway that goes out on to the lake making for a great photo op. I was there with my dogs for Woofstock. This is an annual event the first Saturday in February for dogs and their families to have a day of fun. There are booths, give aways, contests, and fun activities. It is well worth going to. For the last nine years, It has become a yearly tradition for us. I honestly don't know if dogs are allowed in the park during other times of the year. I'm sure someone at the City of Sunrise could tell you.”

“There aren't any flamingos here. What this park does have is a lot of sports fields. The park got a lot of new and improved features in September of 2018. There are two baseball fields, one soccer field, one tennis court and three basketball courts. There is also restrooms, a playground, a splash park, and a meeting room. My favorite part of the park is the .77 mile walking path that winds around the perimeter of the park. Spaced in intervals along the path are outdoor exercise stations. I loved how you can get a full workout while moving through the stations. The landscaping was well maintained and if you should experience an emergency there was a call station by the the bathrooms. This is basically a neighborhood park. There isn't anything to attract people from outside the initial area. The people that were here were enjoying themselves exercising and playing baseball and basketball. There were a few kids playing on the playground too. For the people who live nearby this is a great place to gather. The park is open daily from 8 AM to 10 PM.”

“This is a great outdoor fitness center to do calisthenics and to be in contact with nature. Now they added the cover to avoid excess heat from a sunny day or if it rains. I love to exersice here and also to ride my bicycle around the park.”

“This is an old time shooting range. First, you need to enter the park ($1.50). The range is located at the Northern part of the park. The entry is quite inexpensive. Targets from $0.50 to $5.00 each. You can buy cartridges there too. You need to use tape to attach the targets to the cardboard first. Then enter the range. Since it’s an outdoor range, you’d need to wait until the shooting stops. When it does, you need to attach the cardboard with the target to the metal frame and then manually bring it and push to the range’s ground. Not a 21st century technology but I guess it keep the cost of entry down ($15). Also they ask to sweep the used cartridges after shooting. Could be enjoyable time if not too many people around.”

“Super cool place, you get a bit of everything. Bmx rhythm track, dirt jumps, nice rocky trails, big drops. There’s an air pump station as well as racks and hoses to clean your bike. People here were super friendly. Nice park to come with family there’s so much to do!!”

“It's a mystery to me how come this park and all other great parks in Port St. Lucie are not more visited. Oak Hammock park is great, just perfect for a weekend morning stroll, dog walk, gathering your thoughts, relaxing, breathing fresh air, staying away from the humid Florida heat, etc. Lots of shadow and trails for a half an hour up to 1H walk. And there is water there too! Would recommend to anyone.”

“I like to go to this park for the Woodstock Arts and Crafts Festival. It's small compared to other Broward Parks. The only reason I gave the park a 4 besides its size, is because it isn't dog friendly. I love bringing my small dog with me to parks and have been told he's not allowed :(”
