“Beautiful neighborhood park! One mile paved path with exercise stations encircling pretty water areas; bathrooms, picnic tables, and water fountains available. Not a lot of playground equipment for kids but very peaceful and safe.”

“My wife and I always enjoy our visits. It’s a peaceful walk through nature in Tamarac. It’s not a long trail. It’s a paved trail. A ramp halfway through takes you on a decking that would make it easy for strollers and wheelchairs. There are a few benches for sitting along the trail. We always take our time and appreciate wild life around us. We always observe plenty of bird types, squirrels, butterflies, and etc. They have a few displays with what kind of wildlife is in the area. They state grey fox’s and owls are in the area.”

“Though not much in the way of scenery, if you want a bit of solitude it's a good start. It's nicer in the cooler months, but don't let the heat during the rest of the year dissuade you from taking the trip out. You'll usually find people on mountain bikes and some runners. I myself made the trip from here up to the Atlantic/Sawgrass trailhead to the north on a run one evening. If you're a serious trail runner, it's a great mental exercise, as it's a nearly straight shot and it's difficult to gauge your distance.”

“Fun place to bike if you want to get away from the asphalt. The levee trail is gravel/sand and takes you through nature. On some sections, you can look for miles around and not see any sign of civilization.”

“Dog park open to the public with no fees. Dogs are a little more rough than usual on the large side, on average. Obviously it's the luck of the draw and some days will be peaceful, other days you have to watch your dogs closely.”

“Really nice dog park. Maintained well on a daily basis. Lots of green grass and dogs have a lot of room to run in both the small and large areas. I wish it was lit up so we could stay later at night. Usual complaints regarding other owners... their dogs trying to hump my dogs and them not intervening to stop it... or, not paying attention to picking up after their dogs. But the park itself, is great.”

“its a great place to take kids and for longboarding”

“Beautiful sunsets here but just know that there are a lot of people that come to watch it every night. Parking is usually backed up to the Express.”

“Such a unique place to take a walk in the morning or at sunset, not only a walk, ride your bicycle, fish for a little while, have a picnic. The only thing you're going to see and enjoy there is nature, believe me you will have a very wonderful time in this place. And if you like to take photos the light and the sky here will blow your mind.”
