“The beautiful and unique Seven Sisters Springs is a group of cavernous tunnels in the Chassahowitzka River in Homosassa, Florida. Only a few feet below the surface, the tunnels are connected in groups of two or four, and visitors can swim from one entrance to another under a tunnel. It is absolutely serene but make sure you're well covered so not to endure bug bites.”

“Fabulous time with Captain Jody. Spent two separate days on the water. We had so much fun catching trout and redfish. Caught a sheepshead fish and flounder too. Captain Jody is incredibly knowledgeable about the the best fishing spots and the marine life. Saw dolphin, hammerhead and bull sharks, pufferfish, and sea turtles. Can't wait for our next adventure. If you are looking for the best Captain and guide, Jody is your man!”

“Let me start off by saying this: if you are an avid golfer, like I am, you know how hard it is to maintain a golf course in the state of Florida. Especially when it comes to public courses that a lot of people play. Citrus National Golf and Country Club checks all the boxes for me. They have a beautiful driving range, very friendly office staff, and a very nice golf course. They also allow walk in tee times for folks who love to golf on a whim. If you like to top off and cool off after a round of 18, their food and drink options are excellent. Beer is on draft, or available in bottles or cans, along with soda options, and food is ready to cook upon order. The chef here is excellent, so are the wait staff. Clubhouse management is not afraid to serve people as well, which gets extra brownie points for me. The driving range, the greens and the fairways here are in exceptional quality. I know how hard it is to maintain a golf course, especially in the Florida heat. Greens can die/patch up easily. They irrigate and aerate the greens and fairways on a regular basis to where they’re a beautiful full consistency. There’s still some minor work for the fairways and greens, but nothing that’ll hinder play in any aspect. They have also started work on tee box repairs and the course is coming along wonderfully. Also, don’t be afraid to go into the clubhouse and ask for assistance or anything that you may need, because the staff here will take excellent care of you. Mr. Scott Yates, the course pro and course General Manager, has done a wonderful job at making sure that all the staff are friendly and personable. If you are new to the area or have been living here for years, I highly recommend that you come to Citrus National. Trust me when I say, you will not be disappointed. Big J’s BBQ Reviews out ✌️”

“During our stay at Chassahowitzka Hotel, we experienced a truly unforgettable and rejuvenating nature-filled escape in Florida. The hotel's ideal location near the Chassahowitzka River provided ample opportunities for outdoor water kayaking, and we were delighted to encounter a graceful manatee during one of our excursions. The Seven Sister Springs was an absolute gem, offering breathtaking natural beauty and an incredible spot for swimming and snorkeling. The hotel's accommodations was spacious and perfectly suited for our group of five couples and four kids. The community-style living room and kitchen brought everyone together. Fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere for any family or friends' group reunion or wedding party. The hotel's dedication to preserving the natural surroundings and providing easy access to Florida's captivating nature was commendable. We felt deeply connected to the environment during our stay, which made it all the more special.”
