“This eatery was recommended by a local person who picked me up from the airport. I was brought here by a member of Central Metropolitan CME Church. I ordered the Oxtail plate with mac and cheese and green beans. Yellow rice comes with it. We had sweet tea to drink. I was pleasantly surprised at the deliciousness of the food. The Oxtails were super tender and flavorful, complimented by the yellow rice. They tasted like how I cook my own back home in Memphis. The mac and cheese was savory and cheesy. The green beans were rightly seasoned. I was doubly pleased with the portion sizes. When I got back to the hotel, I told everyone I knew about this down home soul food establishment. I will be back.”
