First Friends Preschool

I would highly recommend First Friends Preschool to any and all families. It will be difficult to convey the amount of gratitude I have for this preschool, but the simplest way to put it : they care, beyond measure, about your child and the individual journey. The atmosphere is fun, energetic, and educational, and the staff and teachers are kind, compassionate, and professional. The Director, Ms. Dianne, and Assistant Director, Ms. Stephanie, are extremely helpful and supportive. If you are lucky enough for your child to be placed in Ms. Sue’s class – celebrate! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ms. Sue and her care. Our son is continuously learning- educational, manners, good habits to set him up for success, etc. – and she truly is immersed in supporting and developing the characters of each individual child. About 7 or 8 months ago our 3-year-old started having trouble in a classroom setting, and the first several months were both extremely confusing and frustrating. We could not figure out what was going on, my son- who was just beginning to speak fully- was conveying that he was confused as well. We had several evaluations done over a long period of time, and many of the issues were played down as “He will grow out of it” “He’s just a young boy” “This is just a phase” – until eventually, (as a recommendation from staff at First Friends), we found a pediatrician, an hour away from home, who was able to begin us on the right path with specialists. I say all of this because this LONG journey was a process that Ms. Sue went out of her way with providing daily support for. By the time we were able to get official diagnoses and start in specific therapies, I had done as much research on my own as possible, correctly suspected what it could be, and began trying everything I possibly could to provide him support and resources throughout the day in a school/stimulating environment. It seemed like every day there was a new resource or tool that we were trying – and Ms. Sue was ALWAYS ready and eager to try anything to help. She paid special attention to him and his needs, always taking note of any concern she recognized to be brought to my attention, and she always came up with creative ideas to accommodations for anything he might struggle with. Her line of communication is fantastic – I have a way to get a hold of her quickly, but she wants me to call during her lunch hour, so she can devote time and her full attention to telling me how his morning was/if there were any issues- This is pretty much a daily thing, and always welcomed from Ms. Sue. I have been working on getting him in to the school system with FDLRS for about 6 months now, but it has been a long process, and Ms. Sue, as well as MS. Diane, has gone WAY above and beyond because they truly love and care about him, and my husband and I will be eternally grateful for the love and support they have shown the past year.

My daughter and I have had a wonderful experience with First Friends Preschool.

Ms. Sue and Ms. Sam were her teachers for daycare and my daughter told me how much she loved them frequently, they've both been a joy to work with. Ms. Sue told me often about how my daughter's day went, she was clearly paying good attention and it meant a lot. And I love that Ms. Sam brings a vibrant and happy energy everyday.

We're very excited to be moving up to VPK with Ms. Wendy, but will miss her old class too.

The daycare has made everything clear, answered all my questions and concerns, pickup and drop off are quick and easy, the building is always neat and clean, I'm thankful for the nutritious meal program, and all of the wonderful activities and crafts I get to see come home.

Thanks for teaching and caring for my girl and helping prepare her for kindergarten!

My son has been going for over a year and they have provided such a fun and loving learning environment! My son talked about his teacher almost every day during the summer when he was at home. They really do their best to care for and teach little ones. I love that I have peace of mind that he is in good hands while we are at work.

My 3 year old daughter attends First Friends Preschool! We like that they offer full and part time schedules. The staff is excellent. This being the first school my daughter has attended we were nervous how she would adjust but she has enjoyed it since day one and looks forward to going!

My great grandson loved Ms Sam from the first day he attended the school. He would come home singing songs and so happy. I also love her she is always so energetic and sweet. If you are interested in a daycare this is the place look no further 👍🏽
All the teachers and staff are nice.
