I do my best to be honest. I have MS. The Doctor I see has been treating me for over 22 years. When I first started seeing him, I was in and out of a wheelchair. He asked me to participate in a drug trial. It involved 3 different injection meds. Every day I felt like I had the flu. When that feeling went away, it was time for another shot or shots. I did this for 3 years. I noticed I wasn't relapsing like I did before. I was staying in remission longer. When I did come out of remission, it was difficult and painful, but it didn't take me all the way down. We finally got the results from the drug trial last year. It was a success. Had it not been my Doctor begging, pleading and so concerned about me, I would not have been in the trial. I would be in a wheelchair. I still have flare ups. I also have a Doctor who knows what he is doing. He treats all of his patients equally.

Tammy and Pam are wonderful and very helpful. Dr. Botero is a great Dr. He takes time to listen, and he takes time to explain everything to you. It is clear from the moment you sit down with Dr. Botero, he actually cares about you and wants to help you. His approach is to make you feel as comfortable as possible with as little medication as possible so the meds continue to work and you don’t become addicted or dependent on the medication. If you are in need of a pain management doctor, I can assure you that you will be in the hands of a brilliant doctor with the desire and skill to help you regain quality of life. I know I will never be totally pain free, but my pain will be manageable and I won’t be stuck in bed for days at a time.
