“I do my best to be honest. I have MS. The Doctor I see has been treating me for over 22 years. When I first started seeing him, I was in and out of a wheelchair. He asked me to participate in a drug trial. It involved 3 different injection meds. Every day I felt like I had the flu. When that feeling went away, it was time for another shot or shots. I did this for 3 years. I noticed I wasn't relapsing like I did before. I was staying in remission longer. When I did come out of remission, it was difficult and painful, but it didn't take me all the way down. We finally got the results from the drug trial last year. It was a success. Had it not been my Doctor begging, pleading and so concerned about me, I would not have been in the trial. I would be in a wheelchair. I still have flare ups.
