Was surprised by the deposit that we had to pay - but was refunded at departure - maybe that helps them keep it in good shape. “This place is close to ybor and a great no-frills option. It was clean, the rooms were good for the price, and the on-site host was super friendly. The rooms aren't very private but it's a hostel and privacy isn't expected. Overall recommended if you need a place to lay down and relax after a night or two in Ybor. It was a plus for me because it was in walking distance to the Amtrak station. Would definitely book again.”

“John is an exceptional person and thorough at what he does. Through each token of advice, each adjustment, each customization, you feel how much he cares. He cares for the rider, he cares for the horse, and he cares that he will impact how they communicate and partner together, each and every ride. John went above and beyond to help me find a saddle that put me and my horse in a position to communicate and progress. I am a small person, not even 5'4" with a petite build, my horse is a 17.3 Percheron draft. John's attention to detail and understanding of biomechanics brought a balance to my horse and I. He took the time to ensure I had felt comfortable and balanced. He asked me frequently how I felt and listened to my feedback in order to make adjustments. In the past few weeks, I felt my relationship with my horse slipping away and into a negative space, we were getting defensive with each other. By finding a saddle that brought balance to our riding, John helped me to reconnect with my horse. John made sure I felt confident in my new saddle. The saddle gives me the support I need to move freely but securely. My horse was calm and relaxed after the fitting and he became my gentle, kind, and loving horse again. The change in the relationship with my horse and I as a result of our fitting with John has given me hope and pleasure in riding with my boy again.”

The office staff is easy to work with and the rent is reasonable. They have a fair pet policy and residents appear to care for their pets responsibly. The location is also a big plus as it is close to many stores and restaurants. I really enjoy living here at Country Villa Estates.”
