“If you like a quiet and private country home, this apartment is excellent. Very comfortable and spacious, extremely clean and well-appointed. Thoughtful additions like reverse-osmosis water and a REALLY well-stocked kitchen including spices (a plus since there are few restaurants nearby), AND LOTS of fresh herbs growing outside. When I parked my car, I was delighted by the smell of fresh dill growing. As a business traveler, I appreciated the desk in the front room at a window, with plenty of outlets and a good internet connection. A total bonus was being able to take walks on clay country roads, with beautiful scenery and wonderful smells- jasmine, sage, roses, herbs. I also really appreciated that there were enough electrical outlets in the bedroom for phones, tablets, etc; the bathroom is spacious and the washer and dryer a plus. They are only 2 miles away from Trilogy, which has an excellent restaurant. If you’re REALLY lucky, the owners will be preparing for an event with their food truck and you can buy a BBQ dinner from them. Pulled pork, beef brisquette, cheesy potatoes are beyond terrific and the homemade BBQ sauce is to DIE for. I’d take gallons home with me if I could! The owners are very friendly and accommodating. This is orange season and Pat set me up with a juicer, an orange bag to collect oranges and an invitation to juice as many as I wanted. Fresh squeezed orange juice, oranges picked that day? Heaven. MORE than worth the money. I’m looking forward to more stays here in the coming year.”
