The staff is courteous and friendly. Our server, Jacob, was awesome. I ordered the top sirloin with the dry rub and Maker's Mark butter, au gratin potatoes on the side; my friend got the exact same thing except with a ribeye, and he also got a side of creamed corn. Everything was excellent. I have never liked creamed corn but my friend insisted I try a bite and it too was delicious. Plus they have a meat market and although I didn't buy any of it, the thick cut bacon looked especially awesome.
What an experience! From the aesthetic, to the service, to the food. The waiter was really nice, I don’t remember his name, but he was really nice and did a great job.
Food is really awesome. Steaks are near perfect! Sides are delicious. And in comparison to other steakhouses, the prices here are top notch for the quality of the ingredients.
This is our second time coming and each one has been great. Can’t wait to make it three times soon!
I ordered the 10oz strip steak with no cap along with a side of bourbon shrimp. It was a really good steak. Not overly seasoned so you could taste it. The side of au gratin potatoes was a done differently but tasted good as well. The bread pudding I was nnot as much of a fan though. It was sliced into thin pieces and tasted more like French toast. No custard texture at all. It still had good flavors though.
Came here for boyz night out and we sat at the bar as per usual. Definitely didn’t disappoint on the bourbon or the dinner front. The bartenders were engaging and efficient and really busy. We tried one of their bourbon flights and their classic Old Fashioned. They have quite a selection of food including specials for the evening. The Bourbon Bread Pudding was gr8 as well! Definitely coming back.
I went in to get a gift card for a client of mine and decided to take advantage of happy hour. The staff were very friendly. We sat outside in the pretty courtyard, with the lovely string lights. Our waitress was excellent, fast and provided excellent service. She told me they have music there Friday and Saturday nights. They had a ling bar inside with plenty of tables. My charcuterie plate was reasonable priced at $7, my daughter had chicken bites which she said were delicious! That coupled with a glass of wine totaled $21. Bourbon and Bones is located in San Marco Plaza in Lakewood Ranch. I hope my client enjoys their meal there and I will definitely be back.
