I don’t know Who wrote a bad review about this place was amazing the lady who takes the order is the sweetest the food was amazing
I always enjoy my visit to D and D. I called in for a pork chop sandwich. Just perfect thin center cut,and not over cooked.
Good food and even better people serving you. Homestyle breakfast in the heart of palmetto right off busy US 41, nestled in a residential neighborhood.
Only doing take out currently while observing Covid-19 precautions (until further notice)
Customer Service is exemplary. A hello or good-morning is mandatory. Atmosphere is family-friendly. I have eaten solo and with a party of twelve. Food was served hot and tasty each time. Whether breakfast or lunch, be sure to order an Arnold Palmer (Ice Tea and Lemonade Drink) prepared by Mr. Elmore. Manners dictate that you thank your server, Bonnie and the Owner/Chef, Shirley Brinson before leaving.
The staff was super friendly, the food was great. We ordered corned beef hash which was awesome. Pancakes were on point. My eggs were cooked perfect over medium. Grits were tasty. Coffee was weak for my taste but the food made up for it. Tucked into a residential neighborhood, the atmosphere is almost like walking into someone's private space, or a paladar---definitely not your average greasy spoon. Don't come in a hurry to get in and out, this is a laid back kitchen with longer than normal wait time.
