“Elizabeth Pointe Lodge could not be in a more beautiful location. The beach was wonderful, the staff could not have been nicer and more accommodating. Our room was lovely. King bed over looking the ocean. The building itself is older but the room was clean, pretty, bathroom even had a beautiful Jacuzzi tub, bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. They had specials every morning that were made to order (along with other buffet style items) so it was always fresh and hot. We ordered lunch one day and the sandwiches were fresh and delicious. There was always free water, cookies, brownies, all day. We would absolutely stay there again.”

“12/08/2020 Well it's Christmas on Amelia Island. During a recent cold snap we were having a problem with the furnace running and running constantly and not keeping up with the set temperature. I called yesterday requesting a service call. They came the very next day. Layton our repair man was very professional. He checked the unit as well as the thermostat he was able to quickly restore heat to our condo. The service did not require any major repairs thank goodness. Before leaving he also replaced the furnace filter before leaving. I highly recommend Peacock Electric for all your electrical repairs of heating & cooling. There is a reason that their business on the island has been providing electrical service for 37 yrs. Call them. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.”

She was so informative, supportive and comforting. My husband was so happy to have her help throughout pregnancy and delivery, she lifted weight off his shoulders. She eased my concerns. When my birth plan changed due to health concerns, she was there every step of the way. She made sure that my birth was peaceful and beautiful. I am forever grateful to her. “We love this campground! The hosts do an amazing job and the bathrooms are sparkling clean. I think most sites are level (22 and 53 are ones we had and they are). We enjoy walking along the river to the jetty and the ocean. Also, it's fun to watch the boats and larger ships. A few notes: this campground is not within quick walking distance of a swimming beach, there are bugs including tiny "no-see-ems" so bring your spray, the sites are basically dirt so make sure to have a doormat. Despite these few items, this is still 5-stars for us and we've been to about 30 campgrounds over the last year. We'll definitely be back!”

“Great road for biking. Signage posted for motorists to use caution, 15 or 25 mph speed limits, public washrooms are clean and accessible. Walk to the beach. The off-road trails are often visible from the park roads, but quite narrow, hilly, sand dunes in many spots. To ride these trails you must be a seasoned mountain bike rider with the appropriately equipped bicycle. Helmets are mandatory. $1.00 per person entry is well worth the cost.”
