“When the well quits and you're in the middle of a shower you know it's not going to be a good day. Luckily I called Freeman Well Drillers-since they're about the only guys to fix well pumps left in Fernandina. They were out before lunch and had everything up and running in about an hour. More than that I got a pro to look at my system and give me an idea when I should start to worry about my 20-year-old pumps. All received passing marks for now and I can panic about something else. And they were cheap! Turned out to be a bad relay. They fix anything between the well and the house. They don't drill that much any more.”

“I had the privilege of fishing with island charters a few weeks ago during their black drum season. What an adventure it was. We were on our way out and another fellow fisherman was stranded with engine issues. Captain Zach and crew towed this guy all the way back to shore and charged nothing for the tow. We set sail a little later than expected because of this but the captain never failed us. He put us on fish all day after that. I guess good karma pays off. I would highly recommend fishing with these guys to anyone looking for a great trip and experience. They apparently just got a new boat as well that was really cool. Great experience for the family and I will surely be back to fish with island charters!!”

“My wife and I recently purchased a home in Fernandina Beach and we knew we needed an old barn beam for a fireplace mantle. We searched around for a reputable reclaimed wood company and found G&H Reclaims near us in Callahan. We set up an appointment with Shari and were very impressed with her shop and selection of reclaimed wood. Everything from massive hand hewn beams to smaller planks used for shelves. We selected a beautiful beam for a mantle and a couple of planks for shelves. A couple of the guys in the shop helped load the beam in our SUV. We’re currently renovating our home and knew the fireplace mantle would be a great focal point. I made plans with Shari to have her team install our fireplace mantle. They came right on time and were very courteous and professional. They set up and within 30 minutes they were done. I think I saw the “world’s largest lag bolts” - needless to say, we have no concerns about the mantle install! What a nice group of people and easy to do business with! We are already thinking about our next project with G&H Reclaims. Highly recommended!”
