“Very old property but still looks decent and everything worked. The refrigerator was not plugged in when we got there but that was not a big deal as it got very very cold. Plenty of hot water for 2 extended showers. Really good water pressure too.”

“Cheap rates. I paid $60 even for a king size room, and it was worth it, compared to the four or five other motels on this block. Much cleaner, everything worked, comfy bed, and safe and well lit. Ice machine and vending machines work, cheap laundry on site, nice sized clean pool. April, the front desk clerk was so nice and helpful. She allowed us to check in early and just had a great attitude and personality! Great option for weekly stays as well!”

“I was taken to this store several years ago by my lovely knitting guru to get yarn for my first project, and I have continued to shop here ever since. I love this place!! Everyone on staff is really kind and knowledgeable. Jami, the owner, is just wonderful. Everyone there, from the staff to the nice regulars that like to hang out and knit, was so welcoming and enthusiastic about getting a total novice off the ground. The atmosphere is just so warm and inviting. Now, with the Covid-19 lock down in place, I tired ordering yarn online. The Knitting Bee website is easy to use, I found some cool colorful yarn and a blanket kit. It came in the mail faster than I had expected and I am ready to start my new project. I am looking forward to visiting this shop again when it is safe :)”

“The hotel is hard to find because it's located deeply behind other buildings. There are still traces of its great past but its future is a major renovation. The elevator needs a major cleaning. The receptionists are nice but it's hard to get a clear information about the billing. They charge $50 deposit. I am still giving them 4 stars because the room was spacious and clean and yet I got a good price.”
