“I was appalled at the review written by David Winkler. I have been a dedicated volunteer at the Mandel JCC in Boynton Beach for many years. The volunteers and Staff insure that members who come to learn, be entertained and socialize are not disappointed. Many relationships and friendships flourish here. We are fortunate to have a caring and dedicated leader, Anthony Slayen, Senior Vice President is respected by all. We are very fortunate to have this special leader and we look forward to many successful years ahead. I would suggest to Mr. Winkler that he look elsewhere.”

“I was interested in taking yoga classes but was apprehensive. I had never participated in yoga before. I was encouraged to try Cristina’s early morning class (I hate mornings) but figured I would try it once. That was it, I was hooked! I went every morning that Cristina taught for the entire summer. She gives each student individual attention, encouragement, and guidance. She is patient and very warm. I’m thankful that she now teaches an evening class so that I can practice with her again. I look forward to every Monday night! PYC is a great place to begin and continue with your yoga practice. I enjoy the atmosphere and all of the knowledgeable instructors. It has been a most positive experience!”

“I tried this place out based purely on Google Reviews and I wasn't disappointed. I walked in and did a 1 hour class and I feel fantastic, despite not having feeling in my legs. The owner was super personable and approachable. I'm not in my best shape, so it was nice to not feel obligated to get the work done. The coaches, and others, had no problem showing me correct form. I felt like I had a personal trainer the whole time. The heat wasn't bothersome at all with the massive fans they have. It was very clear that everyone there came to work out. The only con - I had a hard time finding it. I drove around the warehouse area twice and eventually asked someone. (Even the warehouse people were nice.) End result - they got a new member.”

Chris the trainer/owner will get you started at the right level so you don't get hurt but you build strength. You don't need special workout gear. You do a circuit of exercises with a convivial group. Try it, I don't know of another gym like this one. Friendly, effective.”
