“I had a (medically rather than cosmetically required ) blepharoplasty 3 months ago & found Dr Small to be hugely professional, approachable & she did also a great job! Surgery was almost a stress free experience with no issues and very little discomfort afterwards. I still had some residual dry eye problems & she suggested punctual plugs, at first suggesting that I try the dissolvable ones & then fitting the long term ones. As someone who has been unable to wake up or drive without using eye drops for years, I am enormously thankful to have found a doctor who used multiple approaches to give me a successful result rather than maintenance therapy with more and more eye drops & ointments.”

“I took my 2 year old son here recently for a second opinion for a black line on his thumb. I had previously taken him to a dermatologist office and felt dissatisfied with their care/"bedside manor", their lack of wanting to discuss & answer questions regarding my little boy, and their biopsy treatment plan. Every time we went there I felt as though i was being rushed out the door and my son cried at every appt and they barely even touched him; all & all we were both just not comfortable. We came here and were seen by Dr.Luis Laurentin-Perez, who my son instantly felt at ease with. He was kind, comforting, knowledgeable, and took the time to talk with me about the care of my baby. We scheduled my son's procedure with him and I received 2 calls from the doctor himself, to talk to me, assure me that my boy was in the best hands, and to just make sure everything was good. The day of the procedure, he talked with my husband & I to go over the details, made my son feel comfortable for what can be a scary thing for a child in a hospital, and overall gave us the best experience someone could for a stressful situation. I also want to say that ALL the medical staff that morning were amazing...so much so, that my 2 year old talks about that day as a fond memory. A day or so after the surgery, I received a call from the doctor just to check on us & see how he was doing as we awaited the results of my son's biopsy. The next day (a Friday) I thought for sure we were going to have to wait through the weekend before we got the results. 7pm we received a call from from Dr.Laurentin-Perez to let us know that all was well with our boy! This doctor shows compassion for his patients, and as parents knew that if results came in, it wouldn't matter what time we received that phone call, we would want to know immediately! I would HIGHLY recommend this Doctor & this office. They treat every patient as a priority and that says a lot!”

They got me in a day after I called as a new patient, explained what I may have to pay for my expected procedure BEFORE I even went back to see the doctor, and had my issue resolved, medication sample in-hand, paid and out the door TEN MINUTES after my appointment was scheduled. Every nurse and doctor greeted me with a smile and wished me a nice day. Phenomenal experience and I will definitely be recommending Scotch Institute to anyone that needs any ENT services.”

“Dr. Patel is an amazing doctor who truly cares about his patient's health and well being. He is by far the best medical doctor I have. He sits and takes his time with you and explains everything while using little anecdotes to help with understanding. He tries to get to the bottom of medical issues rather than throw unnecessary medications at it, if they are not needed. I have never felt rushed and am truly grateful to be under his care. I am doing so much better with his help and support. The office is clean, they don't overbook and make you wait. I don't think i have ever had to wait more than a minute or two to be called back. When you are called back and put into a room, you aren't sitting there forgotten about, Dr. Patel comes into the room very promptly. He is very respectful of time. The nurse and other staff are very nice too. I wish my other medical doctors were like Dr. Patel; he is truly an amazing doctor who takes time to listen and care and sadly those types of doctors are very rare these days.”
