“Dr. Astra is an amazing doc. When my husband got sick with his diabetes, he actually saved him from losing his foot. Other doctors wanted to cut his foot halfway off, then his whole foot, then up to his knee and then half of his leg. Dr. Astra said no we're not going to cut his foot or leg off. If it weren't for Dr. Astra I can't imagine what else would've been done. He is absolutely the best doctor and my husband had a vein disease and needed more surgeries done, we always asked for Dr. Astra. I wished my husband's primary doctor wouldn't send him back to Astra, I think it was because of our insurance. My husband past away 9-30-2018, 9 days after his 71 st birthday because he was septic. But we always have great praise about Dr. Astra, no one is or could ever stack up to him. I don't know if he still remembers us or not but he had see us a lot. Tonal and Angela Bernard. “I have had the pleasure of having Dr. Nguyen twice when I was admitted twice to Advent Health Wesley Chapel and I honestly do not know what I would have done or where I would be without her. Not only is she brilliant, but also kind, compassionate, thoughtful and gentle. Her team made me feel like I was their only patient when I know that they were working hard and very long hours. I have severe anxiety, depression and my family was out of town and was an emotional wreck to put it mildly and she showed me grace in a time I desperately needed it and furthermore I would trust my entire family in her care which is saying something.
