“Such a beautiful place to visit! Very clean and has a rooftop bar with eating area. Pretty good prices for the location and setting. This is located inside the hotel and is free to park most of the time. Has handicap accessible parking and entrance. Public restrooms and a good array of different dishes to choose from along with good drinks. I strongly recommend this place for anyone looking for a good place to eat or play. Fun, exciting and inviting. I will definitely be back!”

“This is old school Florida. Everything is updated and yet it is still historically significant. The landscaping, pool area, and dock side are darling and feels like home. Everything is well stocked in each individually owned unit. These owners care about their property and the caretakers of the public areas care. The location is quiet and yet an easy walk to the shopping, restaurant, and Florida activities. You can even do Bay Area water sports just out your front door. Stay! Relax! Play! Loved it so much”

“Okay so some people on here have to be dramatic. My friends and I were scared to see our room because of other reviews but when we got here it’s literally fine. We stayed in building 2. Room is fine. Heat and AC both work quick. It was clean when we walked in. Has a working TV, shower is all good, beds were made and clean. I’m confused why others rated it so low? Did they expect a 5 star updated hotel at $100 a night price? Seems like it. The front desk staff is helpful and nice. I genuinely have no complaints. There’s even a little foyer with a couch, big windows, a microwave, and fridge. 10/10 would stay here again because it’s so cheap and right on the beach. Lots of places to walk to from here. Haven’t tried the pool but it looks nice.”

“Very convenient! Right next to the beach we were visiting. I am not much of a beer connoisseur, but if you like beer, this absolutely is the place for you! They have many different varieties and I sampled 4 different ones. Surf and turf tacos were outstanding! Everyone was pleased with their meal! Server, Isabel, was not very attentive and we did not get refills on our drinks at all, because we rarely saw her. But I assume this is an outlier type situation as she appeared to be the only server on duty at the time. Food definitely deserves 5 stars.”

“I was headed out for dinner, with full intention of eating at Clear Sky Cafe. The line was long & there was not any room ... Even for just one - I continued down Mandalay Ave & came across Windjammer's I poked my head in to see if there was anything good to eat. The hostess Julie sensed I was interested and asked me if I'd like to see the menu and inquired as to whether I'd like a drink. The people watching from my sidewalk cafe table was great & hostess Julie agreed that my potato crusted grouper was an excellent selection from the menu. Great service, fantastic food an adult atmosphere made Windjammer's an excellent selection. I highly recommend this place & think Julie should be promoted!”

“My family and I stayed at a hotel on the beach front for 6 days, we walked to this McDonald's on most of the days for breakfast. Definitely a small location, restaurants and hotels have built up around it as the years have gone by. The service was always friendly, very fast. With a family of 7 ordering breakfast at a very small chaotic location, it would be very easy to get an incorrect order, we never did, always spot on! One of the only downsides is there is only 3 seats available to sit and eat, again it is a very small location, out of this location with its capabilities, overall they do a great job!”

“When two brothers an there uncle come together from Egypt to create the American dream this pizza place was born. Each order that is placed, each pound of dough that is pounded into shape, and pizza cooked to perfection in the oven is oh so good. The shop is small but the busting flavors coming out of this shop is hard to beat. I had the bbq chicken pizza on gluten free crust which I was surprised to have not one but two crust options. The simple but flavors from this recipe is my favorite by far. I travel all over the United States the last two years and wow this is it. I highly recommend this pizza shop and it is a must stop if you are visiting or just passing through like I am. Tell them I sent you! You won't regret it.”

“This is a classic FL beach motel. Very retro!! All the comforts from home. Love the coded doors/gate (no key cards to forget) It's a 1 min walk to the beach. Full kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Mike is super friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back and spend a week. I've stayed at 5star resorts but at the beach prefer comfort instead of posh!!”

“We just stayed at the Tiki Hut cottage in March 2020 for a glorious week. Now if you are the Marriott crowd then this may not be your thing but we loved the old school vibe, friendly people and staff and the most beautiful beach in the USA only 100 steps to the sand. It didn't hurt that the week was sunny and 80 every day. The kitchen has everything you will need. The bedroom has a comfy king bed with ceiling fan. Captain Al is helpful with questions and very Knowledgeable about the area. The hot tub is fun and there are umbrellas and beach chairs for guest use. Also has bicycles that we used everyday to explore the island. THE best part of this cottage is the Tiki hut/table in the front yard facing the street. Fun people watching while enjoying a cool drink. Thank you Captain Al, Terry, Amanda and staff! Hope to be back next year!”

“A St Louis review. Fantastic little place. You just don't get this back home. A 7-11 type place, that serves, wait for it...amazing sandwiches and coffee. Little row of tables to sit down and eat and the staff was very friendly. I would love to have a place back home like this, a place I can run in to get normal gas station items and also walk out with a great sandwich or espresso. I had the Cuban sandwich, top notch. I've heard their breakfast sandwiches are good; I'll be back tomorrow to try those as well. Nice work Abm Minimart!”
