Swashbuckler Motel

To start off, some reviews scared me after we booked. But the place was wonderful. Nothing fancy and not 5star quality, but it very cute and comfy. We came here for our 4th wedding anniversary. David, the property manager was very nice and welcoming. We got to take chairs, sand toys, pool floats down to the beach which was only a short walk away. There was also scooters to rent to ride the island on. The whole weekend was a blast. Take a chance a stay here, you will enjoy.

Very simple and was exactly what my friend and I needed for our short stay. The building is a little older but was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is very convenient to get anywhere. We walked to Madeira beach, St. Pete Beach, and just across the street to Treasure Island beach. David was extremely friendly and helpful upon check-in and even let us hang out at the pool for a couple extra hours after check-out because we needed to kill time.

Great place Great staff. Tereese is very professional and always very friendly. David takes care of maintaining. Absolutely the best. We had a plumbing problem he was out there late on a sat night to fix it promptly outstanding. Vanessa. Housekeeping. Hope I got her name right. She Great rooms are clean and ready to go. This is not a Hilton. It's a boutique hotel. What it lacks in newness it makes up for with uniqueness and Great staff and a true taste of the beach. We love this place. 5th star when you get a jacuzzi lol

Dave was an awesome host. Everything was clean and the hotel had everything we needed to accommodate our trip. The beach is right across the street and the pool area has multiple seating arrangements. This is a great place for just couple, family and family with kids. My daughter enjoyed her Birthday here and it's a memory we will never forgot. We most definitely we be back. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable!!!!!!!!!
