“Deep South Specialties is an establishment I would recommend to anyone I know looking for a vehicle. I was very satisfied with the knowledgable, honest, and courteous treatment I received. There were many nice, well maintained vehicles on the lot. I was able to take a few on test drives, all ran and drove great. Some had small issues that came from the fact that these vehicles were used, however, all of the issues that I noticed, as well as a few I didn't were pointed out to me beforehand. Along with an assurance that they would be rectified with no cost to me had I purchased them. I drove off the lot with a great car, that I'm satisfied with more and more everyday. Thanks, Troy. “John was a nice person to deal with, and he's "fairly honest". Here's the details... A couple of months ago my wife and I arranged to purchase a 2012 31ft Denali pull-behind. Some work was needed to get it fixed up including new tires, a roof re-seal, a new TV, steam-cleaning the inside upholstery, and the upper interior slide-out seal needed replacing. We made the deal, put down a deposit and all the aforementioned work was to be complete by the time we picked it up the following week. Well, the next week everything was done except I noticed that the slide-out seal still had a problem (it was sticking outside of the camper). I mentioned it to John and went inside the office to do the paperwork, expecting him to fix it while I signed papers, etc. I stupidly didn't check before we hooked up and towed the camper away, but much to my disappointment I later discovered that John had simply ripped out the seal, removing it completely. Not cool. Also, when I asked for the keys there were none. So, what I have had to do is order a new seal ($95) and new lock sets ($57). I suppose I should have been more detail-oriented and checked out the seal and asked for keys before signing on the dotted line, but I trusted John and didn't think it was necessary. Nonetheless, I think we got a good deal and I'm basically satisfied. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a used RV that's in good condition. John seems quickly willing to fix whatever needs fixing before delivery, but be careful not to be too hasty like I was. Make sure you check everything that was agreed upon.”
