“So far we have a good experiences at this restaurant with the exception of our 1st visit waiting 45 minutes before someone came to take our order and offer beverages. Just as we were getting ready to leave a waitress came to take orders. What bothered us most about that visit was there were 3 to 4 servers standing by the front door joking & talking with the manager who sat in the chair near the door while we waited! It wasn't busy at all! The waitress did apologize several times stating she had just arrived and no one told her about us waiting. So we decided to stay and try the food! We both ordered burgers at that visit and were very surprised by how big they were! We both were happy with our burgers! Since then we have tried other items and have been pleased with the food and service since. I was also happy they allowed me to substitute broccoli instead of fries since I can't eat them. I enjoyed their hot pretzels only I prefer Honey mustard dressing instead of the mustard they provide which they did switch for me! My husband enjoyed the Wannabe shrimp and the meatloaf dinner. He did state he likes my meatloaf better but even I enjoy a night off from cooking!”

“WOW! Best Chinese food I have had in Florida. We were originally going to get delivery, but the fees with Door Dash added $10 to the order, so we decided to just go ahead and pick it up. When we arrived, they were still prepping the food, and I loved that you could see them cooking- we knew it was going to be fresh. We had a shrimp egg roll, the steamed chicken and broccoli, and the orange chicken combo. My husband LOVED the orange chicken- it was incredibly crunchy and not soggy like the chicken usually is from other places. My steamed meal was not soggy either, and the brown sauce was delicious. Most importantly, the woman who manned the register was amazing- we ended up eating at the place, and she made us feel so welcomed. We are looking forward to ordering from them again!”

“This is a nice looking place inside and out with a large outdoor seating area all under roof. The prices were very reasonable and the service was good, nice friendly people. We went during a weekday at lunch time and had very little wait. I got a steak burger, it was about an inch thick and by far one the best hamburgers I have ever eaten and for only about $8.00 you can't beat it. This was my first time there and I will definitely be going back soon.”

“Hooray, we finally found good Mexican food in Winter Haven, Florida! Nice atmosphere, great service at lunchtime on a Monday. Large party of 7 everything was accurate and delicious. 3 of us got different fajitas: I got the steak fajitas which came with rice, beans,grilled onions and peppers,lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole and sour cream and the shrimp fajitas looked great, but the pork look so tender, that I'm going to try that next time! The taco salad was huge too. You won't leave hungry!”

“Hibachi Express is a newer food location near Legoland. The location itself is very clean and the food is freshly prepared and is delicious. In the mood for sushi, they got it as well. The lunch special comes with a drink, and is a good deal. And don't forget that yum yum sauce, crazy good. Looking forward to another visit soon and you should too!!”

“We ate here often but a few years ago management was terrible. We waited 2 hours for a meal that was not very good. We stayed away for a while. Today we went back to give them another chance. What a pleasant surprise. The service was excellent and the food was great. Our server Amanda was amazing. We had drinks immediately and our food came in about 10 minutes. We are planning on going back again soon. We'll probably be there several times a week. We are so glad things turned around. We enjoy eating here. We will ask for Amanda again. She made us feel welcome.”

His name was David and he even came to our table and offered to take our tray with the trash on it so we wouldn't have to. He was very courteous when we came in the door as well. I was able to order a steak and the rest of our party ordered lobster and other seafood . I was able to enjoy my steak without other odors ruining my steak's flavor. “Had only ate at Jersey Mike's one other time but not in Florida and that was along time ago. So decided to try it and see if i liked their subs or not. The place was clean, help was nice and helpful, delivered food to my table when asked. Since i don't eat bread they put my reuben on top of shredded lettuce. “I love this place and have been a customer here for more about 30 years. Staff is always friendly and the fact that they are open 24/7 is fantastic as I work overnights and they serve take out a 3 or 4 in the morning. They have a huge selection of guilty pleasure breakfasts which is what I usually have. Whether I get the take out or go there with friends and family they have treated me right all day and night for most of my life. This is definitely one of my favorite comfort food places in town.”
