“Absolutely loved our stay at Hammondell Campsites and RV Park. This has been the friendliest, most hospitable site we have been to in forever. Pat, her husband, Wendy and the rest of the staff was such a pleasure to work with. From the moment we arrived they made us feel at home, and even helped us setup our RV. Our RV site included water, electric and sewage hook-ups, and even cable TV. The site was very spacious and well lit, with a beautiful picnic area we really enjoyed. The pool was super nice and clean, and it's open from dawn to dusk. They also have laundry facilities, and activities hall. We fell in love with how safe and light the place felt, the people were all friendly and almost everyone we saw had pets, this was the perfect site for our weekend get-away for our daughter's birthday. Hammondell is about 3 miles from Legoland.”

“We had a really great time!!! Stayed at the Legoland Beach Resort which was excellent and much less expensive than the hotel. Up to five in a room. Fantastic full buffet breakfast included. Buy park tickets separately for better deal. Season passport was less expensive than two days at both amusement park and water park and had perks like free parking and 10 % off purchases. Best for us staying three days. Park is geared for kids 6 - 12 but absolutely every age will enjoy!! Best roller coaster ever is the virtual reality Legoland car race!!! Loved the water park too !”

“Our first family Vacation in a few years. Staff and owners where extremely friendly. Rooms are clean and we did not see any bugs. If you are looking for a world class 5 star resort this is not the place for you. Now if your looking for 5 star world class views and staff this place can not be beat. Pull up a chair and watch the sunset over the lake and if your lucky maybe even a rainbow.”

“Great hotel for the location. Centrally located in Winter Haven, coffee to the hospital, Lego Land, restaurants, shops, and the chain of lakes. The layout is a bit to handle if you're getting a last minute reservation and end up with a room far away from the elevators/stairs. Be sure to ask for a room nearest to the front desk; the rest are a bit of a walk.”

“I was the real estate agent in the park for four years. And I have sold in many parks but this park is the whole package. It’s clean all the residents work together and would do anything for a neighbor. They have two club houses, two heated pools, fishing pier, miniature golf, shuffle board, tennis, plus much more. It is true that they have a pet section. I have a small dog and love all animals but people sometimes forget that some people are allergic to animals. Also the lots are not huge so if you have large animals I would try buying not in a park but somewhere they could run. Most of the people who gave just one and two stars have never been in the park.ive always told all my buyers best way to find out what kind of park it is ask the people who live there. Also Oakwood Estates is very financial secure. Which a lot of resident owned parks are not! My advise do your home work before purchasing any home. Reta stead southern belle realty”

“This is one of the only hotels that accomodate large dogs. Their pet fee is reasonable, unlike many other hotels who won't even take pets >15 lbs & on top of that, charge exorbitant fees. Very grateful for these owners, who understand not every dog lover has a yorkie or chihuahua. Rooms are comfortable.”

“Very clean, large room still under reno/refurbishing. Bathroom reno compete an large and nice. Lots of hot water. Sink area was nice but no mirror over sink. Hair dryer, ironing board, nice TV, towels soft and nice. Room still needs new drapes, window, lamps, chairs. Large fridge/freezer, coffee pot, and microwave were great. Negative: very squeaky bed and could use better pillows. Typical cold breakfast which was fine and fast. All said and done, for the price and one night it was fine.”

“Large clean rooms, clean bathroom. Refrigerator works very well. Coffee maker makes single cups very useful. Microwave on hand all in room. Had big comfortable clean bed. Nice comfortable recliner. Staff were kind, helpful, professional with smiles. Breakfast was nice for the start of your day good variety with fruit. Very good investment in my stay over. I will stay there as often as they have room for me. You even have wifi & a desk. Lovely stay. There is a restaurant right there or a very short drive takes you to a chop house, nice. The front desk supplies you with menus for assorted food deliveries if you would like to eat in. Lovely place to stop for a rest. Lovely pool area as well.”
