“Jon & his team at Epic Auto Salvage is JUST what Polk County needs! Not only do they do a FANTASTIC job at picking out GOOD quality “used” car parts, but Jon also sells VERY GOOD QUALITY USED CARS!!! Jon was up front from the time he posted the Mini I recently purchased and said “hey it’s doing some weird electrical thing, but you’re welcome to take a look at it” — turned out the battery was LOW (that’s normal at any used car lot) that it was causing the electrical to basically go on reserve mode as it was running on alternator only. After telling Jon the issue, he immediately went to get a replacement battery - who does that?! Most used lots are basically “take it or leave it” mindset - not Jon. Jon cares about his reputation, and the quality of pieces, or used cars he has leaving his company. He was fortunate enough to be able to buy this business (the “name change”) from being a previous employee of the company before. They should be proud of Jon, he’s doing good things for Polk County. We also unfortunately recently had to have our Gladiator towed by them, again..TOP QUALITY DRIVERS! It’s important to always make sure you have quality drivers who knows how to properly hook a vehicle, or you’ll have worse damage that you end up fighting the tow company for being responsible for. In January, I was involved in an accident where my airbags deployed; however, the only damage I had was my front headlight area. I took it to Volkswagen in Lakeland, and they held my car for 2 months just for them to tell me they could not do anything for my car. Afterwards, I took it to the Collision Center in Sanford. They told me they did not want to accept the liability. Finally, I sent my car to our saving grace Maximus Auto Sales and Services. As soon as my car hit their shop, they spun into action. “Delivering….Turn down Gateway, make right at second driveway. Go pass the first building make right. Receiving door is in the middle on your left. I was an hour early, assigned a door immediately. Appointment was at 10:00 a.m. They started unloading me in about 20. It’s said At that time I was the only truck. that you should be able to park overnight. There does seem to be space in the rear. Plenty of room to back in. Restroom also available. Hint…get there early. They may unload you, a lot of the local companies start coming in at around 9:30 and seems like they only have one person unloading. JS the later you come, the longer you may have to wait. 🤷🏽♂️”
