“I don't know what people are talking about that gave a bad review. My husband and I are staying here for awhile.and it's been a pleasant stay. The manager,Sophie,is a sweet lady. Very respectful. The housekeeping staff Rosie and her sister Barbara, couldn't be sweeter or more accommodating. Not once have I seen any bedbugs or any bugs for that matter. We feel very safe here. Comfy beds, and clean linen daily. Beautiful Lake Howard is right behind the property. Reasonable weekly rates. I would definitely recommend this fine little hotel to anyone staying in Winter Haven. Will be staying for awhile. Love the retro look. Just as I imagine old Florida must have been like. Thank You signed Janice Leise.”

“Beautiful and well maintained park. Owner truly cares for and assists the residents (regardless of the comments made by one disgruntle person). Perfect location, just rural enough to be quiet and safe and yet close to anything you could want or need. Owner just invested big bucks installing a screened in pool, and independent water and sewer system in case it is ever needed. Also, added security gates to insure privacy and safety. Friendly residents that do not hesitate to welcome and help you when needed. Some residents are seasonal for fishing and the great weather. Some are year round residents. Not fancy, just nice, clean and enjoyable. Highly recommend this park.”

“Excellent option in this price range. Very nice little cabin style motel. it was clean and well stocked. Wifi to steam Netflix. small lake but you still can get good fishing, turtle and small alligator in the lake. this is a room in humid Florida for under a hundred dollars with a kitchenette, I am a massage therapist living around here,was a client living there,and he very happy with the small cabin and bring me a big fish was he Caught,I can see he was very very happy.”

“A wonderful campground with spaces for RVs and tents. The campground is on a beautiful finger lake with lots of waterfowl. Very inexpensive. The bathrooms and showers are old but clean with plenty of hot water. There is a surcharge to use the dump station.”

“You cannot beat this price at this course. We decided to pick up another day of golf and were lucky to get an online price of $20!!! Not only was the price great, so was the price of beer!!! Nice course with a good variety of holes. The place was hoping by the time we finished as they were having a pool party at the clubhouse. Reminded me of my parents winter place in North Port back in the day.”
