“First time staying at Siesta Sands Beach Resort. We stayed in 611 and we loved every minute of it. There was only 4 of us but it accommodates more than 4 people. Each room has it's own balcony and a view of the ocean. Each night we were able to watch the Sunset and it was beautiful. Since it has a full kitchen we were able to save some money by staying in a cooking. Very spacious and clean space. The only issue we had was that there was not enough towels and toilet paper. It's only a minute walk from the beach and we have the perfect view of it as well. This unit is a little pricey but if you split it amongst other people it is well worth it.”

“My wife and I just spent 16 days in Harbor Towers #414. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The condo was nice and the owner even sent us a new blender when the other one didn’t work. 414 is perfect for two people, and we loved the lanai, although it never got the sun. Harbor Towers as a whole is excellent. The staff and the residents were all very welcoming and helpful. The pool area is beautiful, albeit a little small for a building of this size. We especially liked sitting in the bayside area - quieter and more peaceful, especially in the afternoon. Our main concern is that even though it advertises easy access to the beach ( and the picture of the property is a bit misleading), it is not convenient to get to the public beach. All the properties across the street are private, so you have to walk quite a ways to a public beach, or try and park in the massive public parking lots. The main draw of going to Siesta Key is the beach ( and certainly not the traffic gridlock). Our other main obstacle to returning is the upcoming two year project to replace the windows. We have been in a building with such a project and it is annoying to say the least. So, all in all, we loved our stay, and hope to return in a couple of years.”

“This was our second time staying at the Ringling Beach House. It is a great location, an easy walk to Siesta Key village or the beach. The apartments are very comfortable, clean and well stocked with basics, towels, snacks, water and coffee and importantly, the beds are very comfortable. The pool was very clean, good sized and well appointed with plenty of seating for gathering. The staff was available and very helpful throughout our stay. A great experience! Thank you”

“me and my hubs have been here for quite some time, Mitch is wonderful as well as Holly in the office. they are not tolerable of any crazy people, partying or really any rules violation. Ann run a tight ship and keep it cleaned up in here which I can definitely appreciate because we've been to some very trashy places. if you need anything they are all available at a text or a phone call, anytime. we've lost power or water they have provided drinking water. there's so much wildlife and there's a park across the street that you can walk, a fenced lot for dogs to play and tons of fishing since the campground backs up to the river! to bath houses are clean nightly, there's laundry on site, firewood delivered to each site, as well as having a company come in to refill propane!”

“We come every year and have since our kids were born. Bob has made this place feel like our second home. We love how close it is to the village and to the beach access. We love how quiet it is. We love that our kids have grown up coming here year after year and talk about memories of Bob and Sharon like they're a bonus set of grandparents that they come to visit. The hotel itself it wonderful with the location and amenities, but the people that run it make it magical.”

“A nicely appointed condo with a 3 minute walk to the beach. A cart is provided that has 2 beach chairs, an umbrella, and several toy shovels. The pool area is a little oasis unto itself. Management gives you very detailed check-in and out instructions, so we never needed assistance. The ONLY draw backs to the place are some traffic noise when you're outside, and noise from upstairs neighbors scooting chairs on the tile floors, etc. We wiould definitely stay there again.”

“Camping was pretty awesome here! You must walk up the tower and look around! Don't forget to put away trash and lock down your coolers at night, or the huge racoons will get into them! Enjoy!”

“Just back from staying at the Gertrude Village House in Siesta Keys Florida. First and foremost I would like to say that Dan our point of contact for this rental property was amazing!! He was very attentive and quick with his response to any questions that I had prior to and while we were there. The Gertrude Village House was absolutely perfect for our girls weekend. There was plenty of room for 6 girls. The property was very clean, beds were comfortable and it was great to have linens/bath towels along with beach towels ,chairs ,wagon and umbrella provided for the beach. Dan even provide 2 bottles of wine to help us start our vacation! (: Do not second guess renting this property. We also couldn't have asked for a better location. The property was located 1 block from the beach and the Village was basically right in our back yard. The Gertrude Village House provided such a tropical island feel that the only problem we had was we couldn't stay longer... Thank you Gertrude Rentals and Siesta Keys for provided us with such a memorable mini vacation! We will be Back! (:”

“My family of 6 stayed for the weekend and the house had everything we needed; comfortable mattresses, great shower/pressure, cold ac, heated pool, hot tub and just a two minute walk to the white sands of Siesta Beach. The house looks exactly like the pictures posted and was truly amazing! The garage has childrens' beach toys, beach chairs a cooler and a beach cart to carry everything. With a family of 6, I'm used to paying for three hotel rooms...so for the same price we got to stay in our own private oasis. We will definitely be back again.”

“The place was lovely. We had the rear space. Pros: The staff we met when we got the key were very nice. 5 minute walk to the beach, if you take your time! Lighting and general decor is beautiful. The inside was very cleanh and has good quality toiletries provided. The kitchen has very nice, new appliances, and has lovely kitchenware. The washer and dryer were very old, but quality and clearly a reliable set from before the "replace it" generation. The parking was big and plentiful. You could fit about 6-10 vehicles in a pinch, bearing in mind it is shared with the other unit. WiFi from Comcast, got about 115d/12u mbps during our stay. Cons: Outdoor lighting for the rear was non existent. Front has nice lighting on their deck and it would have been nice to use the deck at night. The outside and maintenence area could be cleaned up a bit, you expect sand and dirt at a beach house but it could do without the few rusty metal parts on the ground on the sidewalk. Some of the art doesn't seem to fit the decor, and there were some odd choices for a few fixtures, such as the master shower having a great shower head, but the shower was too small to really use it. The fridge, while nice, is side by side, so you may want to keep a cooler for your drinks to save fridge space.”

“Family Tides- Once Upon A Tide Our family just completed an awesome 3 week vacation in Siesta Key. The upgrades that were done on the property with the lounge chairs around the pool, the deck chairs on the balcony and the new sleeper sofa in our unit were very much appreciated. The pool was well heated and kept very clean. We really appreciated the great support we received from Dawn and the entire Beachside Management staff when we had questions or wanted to make future reservations. We look forward to returning again for a 3rd straight year next Spring.”

“Very friendly people. Although it's very disturbing that the Amish community has moved in at a rapid pace and has been noticed by myself and many other residents, that there has been an odd and aggressive approach at wanting to get together and push the non-Amish residents out at what seems like a plan to create available space for likewise people. Before I voiced this, I made sure to look at myself to ensure there was validity and no opinion. Many other residents have noticed this before my view was mentioned to them. I will not let this continue. I will push back and had better be taken as no worse than their current push.”

“Was an amazing place to stay. It was perfect and a safe area for our kids. Maintenance was great the security guys are the best and were there 24 hours. Everything was perfect except the office lady inside. She was rude and made you feel extremely unwelcome. Our villa was so beautiful inside and you knew you were at the beach. I recommend you look at pics of the villa you want to stay in, because they are owned by different people. So every villa is going to be different inside.”

“This was our first time staying here and we will definitely be back. The owner was so friendly and did everything she could to make our stay wonderful including sending out an email about all the nearby attractions so we were never struggling to find something to do. A piece of old world Florida tucked away from the noise of Siesta Beach. Beautiful, calm, relaxing. Cottage was right on the water and had beautiful sun rises every morning. We have highly recommended this place to all of our family and friends. What a wonderful experience we had!! Thank you!!🤗🤗”

“The Girlfriend and I visited here on 6/17 thru 6/19/23. WE LOVE THIS PLACE! Very peaceful, very clean! Great place for couples ( or families) to get away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy spots. Great value for what you get! Highly recommend this place! We will be back again and again!”

“Camped at Big Flats with my family the weekend of April 15th. The campsite is very nice with a fair amount of shade in the spots. The sites are a little small compared to other state parks, but not tiny. They are trying to grow new foliage between the sites and it was pretty clear there was a lot of damage to the trees from Hurricane Ian in 2022. The host, Peter, was friendly and helpful. Other campers were respectful of the quiet time. Bathrooms were dated but very clean. I would stay here again but probably wait until the weather is cooler as it was very hot in the day and there is no water area like a lake or spring to cool off. The Myakka Lake is FILLED with gators so there is no swimming. Incredible sunsets from just down the street over Big Flat Marsh where we saw deer, turkey and gators.”
