“I held my wedding here in November of 2023 and can't say enough great things about the venue and the staff. Jackie and Dana were amazing and so great with all of my requests. I know this venue is even adding electrical hookups on the lawn after suggestions (we had to rent a generator for our event). The space is beautiful and was perfect for our small wedding (50 people). The rooms are comfortable and the modern updates look great. Thank you Casey Key Resorts for helping us have the best and most memorable wedding!”

“Very clean, cozy and just a 7 minutes walk through the bridge to the beautiful Nokomis beach. There's a kitchen, dining table and also beach towels provided. Only 3 minutes to Pop's Sunset Grill to enjoy dinning or drinks with a beautiful water view. Parking available and check in instructions were easy. Will absolutely come back.”

Island House Apartment Motel

Address: 205 Casey Key Rd, Nokomis, FL 34275, USA

Lodging

“We had another (our third) wonderful stay at Island House. We find the beachfront apartments perfect for us and love the view from the second floor. As usual, the apartment was spotless, the kitchen well equipped and there is plenty of space to store the food you bring in. The fold down Murphy bed is extremely comfortable and so easy to use. The shower is spacious and the bathroom also has ample space for everything you need. The staff is friendly and helpful… and of course, the setting and beach are just beautiful! We will see you again!”

“I love this little place has everything you need and great beach access and a nice pool. There are also a few places to have a nice dinner or lunch which is in walking distance. I also love finding sharks teeth and the Saturday night drum circle on the beach at sunset. My only negative thing is the rooms could definitely use some updating and some new king size beds. Other than that I loved it.”

Escape Casey Key Resort & Marina

Address: 212 Casey Key Rd, Nokomis, FL 34275, USA

Lodging

“We truly enjoyed the resort. Beautiful rooms and landscaping. We just had a bit of bad luck while we were there. The first night we had extremely noisy upstairs neighbors during the middle of the night. Sounded as if they were remodeling. Thankfully they checked out the next morning; however, our a/c quit working. We also lost an entire dozen donuts the first night to sugar ants. $13 dollars down the drain. Mark moved us to another room to sleep while it was to be repaired. They had problems with the parts and we were finally completely moved to the other room to finish out our time- although we had to do all of the moving from room to room- took several trips. Before we were completely moved, we were having to "live" in both rooms. Although we had these inconveniences, Mark was extremely courteous and helpful during this time.”

Gulf Sands Beach Resort

Address: 433 Casey Key Rd, Nokomis, FL 34275, USA

Lodging

“I just spent three months, from Nov 1- Feb 1, in a bungalow here. It was an absolute pleasure. The owners were friendly, helpful, and made sure I had everything I needed. The resort is a true taste of old Florida, authentic, casual, and safe. It is directly on the beach, which is never busy, always beautiful, with lots of birds and an abundance of shells. Sunsets are spectacular. Gulf Sands is located just before private residences begin, so the beach is very quiet; it almost feels like it's your beach. Casey Key is a special island, once you cross the drawbridge you are met with beauty and serenity. If you want a a public beach, beautiful Nokomis Beach is on the south end, with a drum circle twice a week. If you come in December, you will enjoy the beautiful Venice Boat Parade. I will treasure my memories of Gulf Sands Resort.”

The Beachcomber

Address: 129 Casey Key Rd, Nokomis, FL 34275, USA

Lodging

“The Beachcomber is an adorable inn right on the beach and close to the causeway. The room was spotlessly clean. The grounds were well maintained. The best part is how we were welcomed by the owners, Tekla and Robert. They went above and beyond to accommodate us, making us feel so comfortable and giving us excellent recommendations on where to go and see during our visit. This is a little gem. I highly recommend it.”

Casey Key Resort - Bungalows Beach to Bay

“We booked this location because of its exceptional access to the beach, if you go in with that expectation, that it is a phenomenal location, you're good to go. If staying on the inlet side (as we did - due to last minute trip/booking) the beach oasis is only a few steps out the door. If you're looking for views of the inlet while drinking your morning coffee, room 1 might not be your cup of joe. We were a little upset about the views from the room we received, based off the pictures online, but again, we were there for a quick stay and the beach was our objective. Two negatives, there was clearly a septic tank issue or blockage in the pipes, because randomly the bathroom would be just permeate a disgusting smell. It would pass in about 2 hours or so. We just opened the front and back door and let the ocean breeze fill the room. Second, (first world problem) the shower head is easily at the 5'6" mark (way to short for anyone 5'10" or taller) and it had almost no water pressure. If you're looking for new, modern, and highly luxury comforts...the inlet side (at least room 1) isn't for you. We would stay here again, just on the beach side.”
