“Found this place on a last minute trip to the island. The 1bedroom was perfect for our family of 4. Living room, a full kitchen, a sofa bed. Comes fully furnished. They have a washer and dryer free to use. The pool is always clean as well as.the spa. Paul greeted us nicely. Take advantage of the weekly rate if planning a vaca. Had I known would have done it. The beach is within walking distance. Great place and will be back soon.”

Minorga on the Key - Beachside Suites

Address: 104 Avenida Veneccia, Siesta Key, FL 34242, USA

“There is construction going on, the room had a pretty bad paint job (big yellow spot where they replaced the breaker) and they wouldn't allow late check out even though the whole place was practically empty (10am is too early). Don't mind site construction but could have been given a heads up. Place was nice clean and comfy, and staff was responsive over text. I think it's a bigger company managing the property which explains the shortcomings. There was flooding and construction on the adjacent street (had to walk extra blocks to get to the beach) which is no big deal but they could have warned us as well. Basically less than advertised but good experience.”

“I had a great experience doing a girls weekend. The condo was very tastefully decorated, comfortable and had everything we needed. It had a nice homey and cozy feel which made it extremely enjoyable. The location is just a short walk to the beach which made it ideal. The heated pool right outside the porch was conviently located. Overall it was a great experience. I would highly recommend it!!”

“I've been staying here for years and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Siesta Key. The facilities are very clean, the pool is so relaxing. The staff is warm and friendly. Terri is the best at helping to find you the perfect condo for your needs. The beach is a very short distance and the trolley stops practically right in front of the place to take you into town. We went in October last year and it was the best time- good rates, less tourists, and gorgeous weather. White sand, turquoise water, lifeguards, and very safe. Love Siesta Key!”

“This was a last minute decision. Called and spoke with Michael who said he had something for us for the night. I asked for a late checkout so we could get the most out of our stay at the beach and in Siesta Village. He was very accomidating and gave me a very fair rate. The location is perfect as it sits on a corner of a quiet street directly across from a less trafficked public beach access. The room was a little outdated and could use a little beach makeup. The place could use a little sprucing up and it would be the best spot in the Village. All in all we had a great time and had no complaints. We really appreciated feeling welcome and at ease. Give them a shout !”

Crescent Siesta Key Condominium Association

“The Crescent Siesta Key is an extremely nice condo in a convenient location and on the beach. My one problem was that the bars across the street have live music every night and it is really loud. I couldn't enjoy sitting on the balcony and the noise could be heard inside the condo as well. Something to keep in mind if you are looking for a quiet vacation condo.”

“Two of girls (with another one soon to enter) have attended this school and I couldn't be more pleased with our experience! The facility is very clean, teachers are caring, and the kids learn a lot, but as a working parent, nothing beats their ability to communicate. It's often difficult to keep up with what your kids are doing when you're not around, but this school goes above and beyond to make sure you are connected with and informed about their efforts. A++ Administration & A++ Experience!”

Everyone here is really friendly and professional. Mattress is super comfortable and the breakfast on the top floor besides being delicious is another amazing experience with the 360 view of the golf shore..”

Casa Limonada Boutique Motel

Address: 138 Garfield Dr, Sarasota, FL 34236, USA

Lodging

“Casa Limonada was the most incredible place to call home during our destination wedding trip! From day one, Gur was hand-down the kindest and most professional manager we have ever had the pleasure to work with. He afforded us flexible, transparent options for our block booking and we knew with certainty we were in great hands. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to change our wedding plans last minute and after scrambling for options, Casa Limonada stepped in, going far far above and beyond to not only facilitate us but to bless us with memories we will have forever. This place is gorgeous, spotless and you can truly feel how the people here pour their heart and soul into providing guests with an outstanding experience!”

The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota

Address: 1111 Ritz Carlton Dr, Sarasota, FL 34236, USA

Lodging

“Pros: Beautiful hotel Good location Clean, nice rooms Staff very friendly Bikes and other fun amenities Beach club- some may view this as a con because the hotel isn’t on the beach but it was really nice. There’s a huge pool with service as well as shaded loungers in the beach. They give you complementary ice cold water and towels, there’s a few choices to eat as well as lockers to wash off. It’s actually pretty amazing. They have shuttles every hour to take you there. Cons: The club level could have a little better food in terms of selection (it may be worth it if you value convenience) No fridge in the room If you have a baby or toddler that sleeps in the crib you may be better off bringing your own. The crib they had was really small, and metal. My son didn’t sleep well in it.”

The Shells Villa

Address: 312 Beach Rd, Sarasota, FL 34242, USA

Lodging

“Our 5th time renting and gets better every trip! The house is super consistent and we feel like we are home the minute we arrive. Restaurants in town are really upping their game and the village is a vibrant as ever. Great time at the beach and super clean. Enjoyed everything and will be back. Kiddos had a blast and couldn’t get them out of the ocean. They also loved to oversized bunk beds and having their own tv.... and ....... ripping fast WIFI :).”

Sunset Beach Resort

Address: 76 Avenida Veneccia, Siesta Key, FL 34242, USA

“We just spent our wedding weekend here! It was fabulous!! We had a 30 person intimate family only wedding. We had plenty of space for families to all stay on site, a wonderful reception area, and private beach ceremony. With having a private pool and the beach right there, we were able to relax all weekend and have our families a perfect location to mingle and blend. Gorgeous sunsets and cozy housing for all our vacation needs. The outside seating areas are perfect for sunset and early morning coffee. I highly recommend staying here and booking the site for events!”

Bee Island Primitive Campsite

Address: Myakka City, FL 34251, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“Bee Island is a primitive site that is about a 3 mile hike in, depending on the route you choose. Easy hike, flat. Located in a oak hammock, just off a trail and an access road for rangers. Very peaceful. On the nights we stayed we saw lots of birds and listened to owls and coyotes during the night. There is a water pump that provides water but it MUST BE TREATED by either filtering, boiling or some other chemical means. It has a strong iron taste but it IS drinkable after PROPERLY treated.”

Our House On Siesta Key

Address: 89 Avenida Messina, Siesta Key, FL 34242, USA

“My second stay at Our House on Siesta Key was just as perfect as the first. The unit is clean and spacious and has everything you need on hand. The location is ideal, right in the heart of the action, walking distance between the village and the beach. I look forward to my next stay and wouldn't think about looking anywhere else!”

“I stayed in A House Among Trees for a few nights. It is a great place and very comfortable. They weren’t kidding about the trees. It felt like being in a jungle. And it kept the house very cool. I particularly liked the vintage 50s floors and open layout. It is a very convenient location. Very accessible to everything. I would stay here again.”

Sandcastle Resort at Lido Beach

Address: 1540 Benjamin Franklin Dr, Sarasota, FL 34236, USA

Lodging

“We've had a great time so far! Plenty of room for my mom, grandmother and me. We're also able to have our 2 small, well behaved dogs with us. Grateful for that because never want to leave them home. The beds are very comfortable and one of the showers has multiple shower heads in it, pretty big. I found it strange that the master suite did not have a bathroom attached. The kitchen is small but there is a full size refrigerator, dishes and utensils, a hotplate and there are 2 mini fridges. We especially enjoyed the patio and all the comfy chairs. PERFECT to watch the sunset. It was great to have a beachfront, private view.”

The Diplomat Beach Resort

Address: 3155 Gulf of Mexico Dr, Longboat Key, FL 34228, USA

Real estate agency Lodging

“A quiet little beach community right on the Gulf. The motel facade is older but interior renovations are more modern. Love that there is a pool area and instant access to the beach. Includes a grassy area that spans the length of the motel; picnic tables and lawn chairs for those who don't want to be on the sand, but can still enjoy the view. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.”

“The Lido Islander is the best kept secret on Lido. It has a great location; everything you need is within walking distance. It is only a block away from the beach. We enjoyed the low key, laid back vibe of the place. The decor is tasteful and has an art deco feel to it. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. It is excellent value. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you to the innkeeper for your prompt response when we had questions.”
