The service, ambiance and food is on a different level compared to other “high end” restaurants. They took a page out of European fine dining places and planted on longboat. “As of March 2020 Bobby Jones is closed for golf - and faces an uncertain future. For now, this county-owned course, which is not being maintained, is open for walking and biking on the golf cart tracks (that can be bumpy - so leave the roller blades home). We took our bikes on several miles of loops that meander throughout the course and enjoyed having the place virtually to ourselves and seeing a number of birds - cormorants, egrets, herons, hawks, sand hill cranes, and a lone kestrel. Get outside and take advantage of these Covid-safe activities while Bobby Jones is in limbo. OH - G's Southern Kitchen, which operates in the club house, is open for meal possibilities.”

“Went here on a whim and it was amazing. Indoor A/C seating, outdoor seating under a gazebo, and (we went with) picnic tables with umbrellas in the sand, 5 feet from the water. Great views. Very quick turnaround on the food - all quick, but delicious, bar style food. Best buffalo chicken wrap I’ve ever had. Everything is reasonably priced, even the drinks. Best of all, there’s so much to walk around and see right in the area.”

“We had a wonderful time aboard the Marina Jack II and can't wait to do it again! The staff were attentive and friendly. The passengers were having a great time! Lots of laughter and excitement among the kids, parents and grandparents. It felt good to me to be among them after so much pandemic social distancing. Sarasota is a beautiful city and we loved seeing it from the Gulf. The sunset was gorgeous and the beautiful homes along the way were to die for. Dinner was really good. We especially loved the salmon and the scalloped potatoes! Yum! There is also a Marina Jack restaurant at the marina that we want to try the next trip to Sarasota. If you have a disability, feel comfortable knowing that you will be helped by the staff. I personally saw the care that was taken of the disabled elderly. It was touching to me. Valet parking was easy and inexpensive. That was also a plus.”

“This is a wonderful little diner restaurant serving breakfast at St. Armands Circle, that is informal and inexpensive. Everything on the menu is delicious with generous portions, and the service is attentive, personable and friendly. Even the busboys passing by offered to refill my coffee, and seeing that we were preparing to leave, asked if I'd like a 'go-cup' which I accepted, I appreciated that. I'm glad I found this little gem on St. Armands, and I will definitely return anytime I'm in the area. I appreciate having a good breakfast and not breaking the bank. The cost/quality balance is a real value. If you're looking for a quaint little place with good food and friendly service, this is it. Thanks you guys!”
