“We are thrilled with Trasca’s catering! We just used them for a large dinner hosted at their restaurant. Carole created a menu that was fun and delicious! We decided to serve buffet style due to time constraints and Trasca had everything ready and hot to serve when guests arrived! The following day they catered a large lunch for 110 people off site! “Pleasent, comfy, and a great hang out location for friends to gather. They've got a nice shake selection, including a nice spiked shake selection, and a good bar as well. The restaurant is nicely lit and the music isn't to loud, playing nice rock and pop music. The Totchos are particularly fun side dish. I had the swamp burger and the pulled pork and spicy slaw in it were great. They also have no qualms about cooking a burger to order, I got mine medium rare, and it was perfect. The food was out fairly quickly too and there was no wait going in at 7:30 on a Friday night. All in all great place for burgers. Really they don't have to much else, but do what you do and do it well, and they make great burgers!”

“It was good Italian. We were able to make a reservation for 8 tonight a few hours before arriving to eat. The roasted garlic and oil for the bread is very good. The fried mozzarella was very good. The eggplant Parmesan was in the top of the best I have I say within the top 5. The chicken Cesar was very good and fresh. The tour of Italy was 10 times better than Olive Garden. The homemade Alfredo was good and you can definitely it was homemade. The waitress was nice and friendly but slacked on refills maybe they were short staffed.”

“Just found this place today. My wife,daughter and I went to kill some time before our food was done at the Mediterranean place next door. So glad we walked in not only did the meats look amazing but the customer service second to none. My daughter tripped and was crying the gentleman came out with stickers for her she stopped crying immediately lol we bought lobster Mac and cheese which was amazing and the New York style cheesecake was excellent!! “On vacation for 5 days in St. Augustine from Ohio, and St. Augustine Fish House and Oyster Bar was recommended by one of the locals. It was the perfect way to end the trip. While it was a bit expensive, it was worth every penny. Our waiter Daniel was top notch, we asked him many questions on recommendations and every one was good and we never had to track him down, he was always there at the right time. For food we had the fried gator tail, we weren't sure what to expect. It was surprisingly mild and tender. The stuffed grouper was out of this world, honestly it was so perfect it didn't even need to be stuffed with cheesy crab meat. We also had the captain's platter, which is a variety of sea food. All of it was cooked perfect, but my god, the scallops were melt in your mouth buttery heaven. We both had bacon collard greens, which were good, the cheesy grits were delicious and the hush puppies, we agreed, were probably the best we've ever had. The only thing that happened was we were told we'll probably need reservations, we tired calling a few times on different phones and we couldn't get through, even though the line picked up. So we drove the 8 minutes from downtown and took a chance. Luckily we were able to get a table but September is the off season so that probably helped. In summary, this restaurant was the best of our stay, pretty location, great food and drinks, excellent service. Will recommend to anyone coming within an hour stay of St. Augustine and we are going to think about this place while we are in the seafood desert that is Ohio. We'd come back just to eat here again.”

“I've dined here twice, once for lunch and now once for dinner and enjoyed both experiences! It's very much a neighborhood family-friendly place with easy but somewhat eclectic food choices. We arrived for a late dinner on a Wednesday and could tell they have a busy (early/normal) dinner crowd, then it empties out fairly quickly - closing at 9 on week nights. This was not a problem, as long as you don't mind some empty tables around you and fast service :-) If we lived closer, we'd be here more often, though it sits between us and the beach 🤔 P.S. there are some imperfections like speed to clean vacated tables, but for me that did not detract from the experience”
