(September 9, 2019, 5:16 pm)If you enjoy true nature and calm beaches, this is the place to go. I have been here many times and always enjoy it. Be aware there are no stores, no vending, so bring enough liquids to stay hydrated in the sun.
(September 9, 2019, 10:43 am)Talking about the beach:: Great secluded place to hang out if you don't want to be bothered much. There is a certain population that likes to come here and you'll find out when you get there. More secluded due to it being part of a state/national park and all. The cost is a great deal (check their site) for a one year membership. If you're a visitor, it's $15 last time I went for the day but I'm not an Orlando resident.

(August 10, 2019, 10:36 pm)Love fishing and hanging out here. You can really avoid the traffic and find some beautiful beaches as well. If you’re there early enough in the morning there is a lot of wildlife to be seen on side roads. Black point wildlife drive is a great spot to see gators and migratory birds in the fall.
(June 28, 2019, 12:23 pm)Beautiful beach! Several parking lots but they fill up fast. Restrooms in the parking lots. Several historic areas to tour but take BUG SPRAY!! There's a visitor center. Also a couple of places for putting a boat in as well as canoe and kayak rentals available in the visitor center parking lot.
