“This was a very beautiful resort with an awesome view of the beach. One thing I will say is eating at the Tiki bar they had outside was good and bad. The food and drinks were great and the bartender did awesome making drinks. The bar manager or who ever was making food (His name was Cort), was very VERY rude to the other workers there and would continue to talk down and belittle literally everything she did the entire time I was there. It’s really sad to see that he was not supportive of his coworkers and It was uncomfortable to see him treat her the way he did, I really hope he isn’t anyone’s manager by his attitude. Hopefully they will teach him how to treat and lead fellow employees.”

“The managers consistently go above and beyond to make sure everyone gets taken care of. A unique one of a kind Southern charmer! We have enjoyed visiting there for many years! When the main holidays of Thanksgiving and Xmas roll around there is a special feast prepared that would take team managers Diana and Mike at least 2days of preparation.in the heart of kitchen an island of homemade food..made with loving care... Diana always made sure people had more than enough food and fix them up with a box of food to go! I don’t know if any hotels that give a feast and more meals away for free . It is just not cost effective.”

“My wife and I went for week end getaway, this was our first timer here, back in October 2019, the staff and residents were absolutely wonderful. they made us feel at home. “I've known Connie for about 2 years. She is the owner/operator. She is a sweetheart. Kind and considerate. The truth is yes it's not the best place in town. Connie is not really running a turnstile type motel. She has most of the rooms rented out to long term guests. She treats everyone like family. If you're hungry Connie will feed you. If you don't have any clothes Connie has plenty of stuff from past guests. If you want fancy service and want to act like a big shot go to the Hard Rock. If you need someone who will sit with you when your low and tell you everything will be alright Connie is that person. Ain't that pretty!!!”

“The location of this hotel is perfect for the beach. It is almost located on the beach. The rooms have amazing views of the beach. You can view the sunrise right from your room, the location is so perfect. They have warm water jacuzzi which is very relaxing. The rooms are clean but breakfast can be improved.”

“Not sure how to rate a hotel with starts if is not rated as such.that’s why I did 4. However, I was impressed how clean the room and the overall location was. Parking well illuminated. I like that the staff is not dressed as a code and more as their own vibe and you know they are employees because their courteous service, so you know who to talk. It does have that retro vibe, that was very nice. I didn’t had a chance to go to the roof top, but seems like a popular thing to do in that area. Bathroom: very clean, all the usual “chain” hotel layout not missing. This is not your usual hotel, so they have things that didn’t follow the tradition and I like that. the half glass in the shower is cool. They have their own very nice and clean vibe! Breakfast: straight forward, good service and good. My girlfriend tried the steak and egg and that steak was surprisingly very good we didn’t expected that.”

“Although it was for the passing of my 99 years young grandfather we had a nice time! Great location right off the beach, and plenty of restaurants! Met some really nice people in the building! Staff professional and courteous! I would definitely return in the warmer months to enjoy the beach! The apt was through Airbnb plenty of room, cozy and exactly as pic shown! Full kitchen, beautiful bathroom. CLEAN!!! No complaints here! I would recommend!”
