It is a ministry and a family, with a church attached. You know that your tithe money is going to be used to love and help the community rather than on expensive lighting rigs or something like that. “My late grandfather, Rev. Charles H. Covey (wife Hazel), was the pastor of this church starting in the summer of 1967. I was 12 years old then and was known as Margie Freeman. I spent the entire summer living with them in the old 3-room parsonage. I knew "Mr. Jasper" Crowley as well as his brother and sister-in-law. Mr. Jasper supplied us with fresh milk every other day. Many fond memories were made that summer. I wrote this review just as a bit of history. My home is now in Port Charlotte.”
