The food was amazing, making the 2 hour drive well worth it. The food had the right flavors, the price was right and the service was wonderful. For someone like me with celiac, it was great to find a place that had both gluten free, Nima tested, and delicious food. Next time you are in or traveling through Key Largo, this is a stop you must make!!”

“During our trip from Atlanta to St. Augustine we stopped for something to eat at this Waffle House at the 1st of May. It was our first visit to a Waffle House and we liked it from the beginning. The ambience is like in the movies and the services was really nice. We were able to see how our meals were prepared and it was all good. Before we left we had a little chat with one of the chiefs and one girl of the service and we got two little plastic ducks as a souvenir and lucky charm for the rest of our vacation trip. And guess what, we had the best vacation ever!”

“Came in for late breakfast early lunch, Amanda greeted us and was very attentive and hospitable and checked back often. My table ordered the foot long Angus dog-pretty sure that's an understatement. “*Note:* I didn’t stay at the hotel because it was undergoing whole property renovations when I stumbled across this absolute gem of a property. Husband and I were trying to find parking for our destination: the neighboring Grille at Riverview. Parked in the lot for the hotel with the signs: “Parking for Hotel Guests Only.” So we ventured into the lobby of the hotel to ask whether there was designated parking for the restaurant. The historic property is gorgeous and obviously period without being dated or stuffy. The lobby boasted a bevy of handcrafted and artisan sale items, all tastefully displayed. The two staff I encountered were both exceptionally polite, helpful and knowledgable. I am enthused to book a trip with them in the future but absolutely suggest a stop-in to enjoy the lobby and wares.”

“Been here twice now and have gotten the nutella Belgian Waffle and tiramisu gelato. The prices are reasonable and both the waffle and gelato were fantastic and absolutely delicious. The serving size on the small gelato was really good. The girl was nice and filled the cup till it was overflowing, great to share with my friend or enjoy alone. The gelato was creamy and smooth and not too sweet, just perfect. The nutella Belgian Waffle was great too, crunchy on the surface and thick and fluffy inside. The people working were nice and the inside had a warm atmosphere and nice tables. I'll definitely be back again soon for more waffles and gelato, and maybe to try something new.”
