“Stopped by on a Sunday for lunch. There was no wait and our server was very attentive. I love the authenticity of the restaurant inside from the food to the decor. It really reminds you of the keys. We tried the lobster bisque which was incredible and we got 2 grouper sandwiches, one fried and one Jamaican jerk style. Both were consistent and so delicious. The coleslaw and fries were also good! Overall, great experience and will definitely be back. Oh and we didn’t get any dessert but my mom swears by the key lime pie here. One of the best in the keys.”

“Started off a little rainy but then the sky cleared up. Sailor Ripley, Miami local band we're playing their hits. Key Largo fisheries were having their lobster fest. We decided on lobster corquettas and fried calamari. We drank mango smoothie and margarita. I love this venue. Super friendly staff even a fish market if you want to take fresh fish home. Even their super clean bathrooms have nautical decor.”

“I really like this spot! Just a few miles in when taking the road to the keys. The private beach is great for the kids. As long as you are consuming in the restaurant you can be there. They close at 4 the service on weekdays and 6.30 on weekends. But you can stay at the beach. Prices are affordable and the food is very tasty. Also very good service!”

“Had the coconut fish sandwich that I was very happy about. The vegetables that came in the sandwich tasted great and the fish itself was flavourful. The fries are definitely the high point, being extremely good for a side. Light and crispy and very worth it. We also had the calamari as an appetizer and I genuinely enjoyed the breading as it was a nice touch of flavour. We left a little as we got our entrees very quickly and I noticed that you shouldn’t let them get cold as to preserve the good flavour. Overall nice, not extraordinary, but a great option for a very casual meal.”

“Great little find! At first, we were not sure what to make of this small, roadside Brazilian restaurant. They don’t serve alcohol, but it looks like they are working on it. We ordered the mixed grill. The steak was medium rare just like we ordered it and very tender, the chicken with bacon was so tasty and the sausage juicy and delicious. We had the fried yuca and the kale Caesar, both were very good. Great service! Definitely recommend!!”

We had a steak and cheese which was good, a calzone which looked good but supposed to have mozzarella, ricotta, and Parmesan per the menu, no mention of sauce, however it came with mozzarella and Parmesan with sauce. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t great or what we expected. The kids chicken tenders looked great and someone else in our party had the chicken parmesan sandwich and said that was ok. Our server was great and let’s be honest, dinner by the water is great no matter what!”

“I literally can’t even thank Lyndsey Mae for her hard work! Being here in the keys is so stressful to plan a wedding. But when I contacted her for her assistance, she asked me all the questions on budget and theme. I explained that I was on a smaller budget then normal weddings. When I say this woman went above and beyond.. SHE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND. She made our dream beach wedding come true. Everything I told her we wanted at the wedding was there and even added her own little flare to it. Trust me. If you ever need some more ideas about your future wedding; please ask her because she has so many great ideas!!! The wedding was just breath taking. She’s so organized, which was a relief because at the beginning for me I felt like everything was falling apart before I contacted her. “Our first stop in the Keys last week was at the Tiki Bar in Islamorada. We loved it there! It was very picturesque with lots of photo opportunities! There are many places to walk along the marina. People of all ages were there. Many cozy chairs to sit on along the way if you get too tired or hot. It's very clean and well kept up. I can't wait to go back!! While we were there exploring the beauty of this area, we decided to have lunch at the Tiki Bar. Great decision on our part! We had the best quesadillas we've tasted in years! These were packed with goodies! My daughter had the Shrimp Quesadilla, and I had the Chicken Quesadilla. DELICIOUS!! The service was top-notch! Our bartender and server was Yakup, who had a great sense of humor and personality. He took great care of us. We were there on a Friday afternoon, and it wasn't packed, which was nice. I'm sure that it gets busy later in the evening on the weekend. It's a great place to hang out. Put this place on your list!”

“If you are driving to Key West, this is the perfect stop for some good food! They are famous for their key lime muffins but they have many other flavors available. The place is really cute and they have parking in the back. Their muffins are incredibly soft and moist! Their coffee mugs are little so you need to call them multiple times to refill. Coffee was not hot but the service was good. Definitely recommended!”

“We left the Miami airport headed for Marathon Key and noticed it was lunchtime and we were ready for lunch! After a Google search we settled on Mrs Mac’s Kitchen. We started off with some conch fritters that were delicious by themselves but that homemade sauce they came with really put them in the class of those I’ve had in the Caribbean. Lunch was a fish and shrimp plate. The fries that came with it were the shoestring type which I am not usually a fan of but these were not overcooked so they were very good. The fish and shrimp were Heavily breaded( just like it said in the description) but still a little much but delicious nonetheless. The home made tarter sauce was an awesome addition as well. The cool atmosphere of the place is really worth the visit by itself but pair it with the great food and its a home run for sure. I would come back here anytime.”
