“We stumbled across this little gem of a restaurant while visiting Sarasota. I’m from Houston. Texas so it’s difficult to impress me with food. We have some of the best eclectic as well as fine dining restaurants. Fork & Hen is on par for sure. We tried the Blue Plate fried chicken, chicken & waffles, the falafel appetizers & iced tea.. Everything was amazing. All the food and sauces are from scratch & you can taste it! I love the added touch of the homemade pickles to these dishes. Can’t wait to come back & try something else when I’ll be there in October.”

You'll never find it without knowing where it is. You won't just drive past this place. Along the water, quiet and tucked away. We ordered an appetizer of pretzel bites, entrees of Wings and Buffalo chicken sandwich. Drinks were good. I believe they said no mixed drinks but had beer and wine. Overall the place is so nice to relax with friends and have a drink on a saturday afternoon. Cozy local Florida Tiki bar. Everything you can ask for.”

“This was my first time inside Henry’s. We’ve ordered delivery before at work. The front counter lady smiled and was very pleasant. I ordered my fave Cuban sandwich and again it was out of this world delicious! The meat is super tender and the bread crispy on the outside! I highly recommend checking this place out. They have a great Cuban menu with classic dishes, coffees, desserts and smoothies. It is inside a gas station but don’t let that fool ya! They have tables and a cute little counter top to sit at if you want to eat inside. Just super good vibes with music and decor making it feel like you’re in a neighborhood Cuban cafe. 🇨🇺”

“We have been to this venue a handful of times now for different occasions. They have some really good bands come through, cover bands, djs, and events. We went to see Saliva last night. They held a prom for adults here last year that we attended and we all had a really good time, fairly clean bar with good staff. Haven’t had any issues at this establishment. They have a kitchen with decent bar food choices, prices on drinks and food are all usually fairly good and they usually run some sort of specials which makes things even better. Easy to get to location with plenty of parking. Looking forward to seeing what other upcoming events they have planned for this year”

The potato salad is the Best in Venice! Waitress is very nice girl. Love her. I put 4 stars because they added 20% ! Tips automatically! Hmm..why is it? 15-18% tips is good,since all food coast went up,they already have a big increase in their wages. Why would I pay 20% of tips for 2 people? If I had 8 people, lots of work etc..I understand 20%, but for 2 people... no. I think I will not go back. I am not rich enough to pay 20%. I am a cook and I do not get any tips at work. It's so sad that greed is everywhere. I guess you prefer to take 20% tips once,than to have 15-18% every week. Thank you. Good luck.”

All you can eat fried fish -$14, all you can eat fried shrimp - $14 and A margarita pitcher - $12. I forgot to get a photo of the calamari, we ate it too fast. Lol Donna was the ABSOLUTE BEST SERVER. “We had dinner here while staying at near by Salt Springs Campground. We waited until Friday to hit this spot for the seafood and all you can eat crab legs. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Both the owner Pop’s and our server were wonderful. Very attentive, made sure our drinks stayed full, cleared away dirty plates and answered all of our questions. The owner not only rounded and made every guest feel at home but jumped in serving and clearing tables. We will definitely be back!”

“They’ve changed! I don’t know why they don’t have any recent reviews but the food was amazing! And per their website, they’re open 5a-8p daily. When I arrived, the food was laid out behind the counter and it was hot and fresh. I regret I didn’t get a picture cause the food selections looked that amazing. The big guy behind the counter, Gamaliel, was super friendly and explained the menu special, 2 tacos and a large drink for $6. You can also get plates, fajitas or bowls. I tried the taco special and got shrimp fajita and chicken fajita and they were SO good. The chicken had good flavor but the shrimp was the best. The seasoning was spot on and the onions and peppers were cooked with just the right crispness when you bite into them. They have some toppings behind the glass that you can add to your food, but they are extra. The toppings at the self serve bar are free and they had a decent selection. Overall, I highly recommend y’all give this place another try. I would definitely eat here again.”

“This is a Hidden little gem in Fort Meade. I came across this place when I started working in the area, by a menu that was in my office. It looks like a take out only restaurant just from the outside and in passing , I decided to order take out for lunch and was so surprised at the seating available for dine-in. I enjoyed their fried okra and a pressed Cuban that of which I saved half for for dinner. It was alot and it was the best cheat day lunch in Fort Meade.
