“Temple Beth El is the best. I was looking for a Reform Temple that was small, (not overwhelming) accepting, the members didn’t take themselves too seriously, but still maintained the appropriate reverence why were are there. When i walked in, I could see it was checking all my boxes. I immediately felt I was home. Friday night services lots of singing and dancing, and Saturday is more traditional. Either one is great. If you’re looking, definitely worth checking out.”

“As a member of TBS for the past 33 years, it's still my spiritual home. Love the E-mail communication -- many thanks. In my early days, mailings were a hands on operation with us volunteers spending many a day helping the Temple office out . Happy memories and many friendships were made. With Rabbi Werbow's leadership, TBS has become a much warmer and loving Spiritual home than ever before.”

“We went to the celebration dinner for Israel's 75th anniversary recently. We were very impressed with the dedication of the Temple members in preparing and executing this wonderful affair. The food and music were fantastic. There was lots of dancing and a great amount of Joy. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend everyone to check out Temple Beth Am in Margate”

“Instantly felt welcome and comfortable at B'nai Aviv. The congregation is definitely a family atmosphere that makes you want to come back as often as possible. The Rabbi and Cantor are amazing and services are a joy. The Rabbi is young and gives relevant context to today's world in every sermon and service.”

“Where to start? SFJA has made a world of difference in my family's life. My daughter has learning disabilities as well as autism, so she faces many challenges. When my daughter started at the school in the 8th grade, she barely spoke to anyone, and especially not to adults outside of our family. She mostly looked at the ground rather than at the people she was speaking with. Her self-esteem was very low, and she was almost pathologically shy. The loving and committed staff at SFJA welcomed her and immediately treated her as a person who is capable of great accomplishments. Their standards are very high, and at the same time they celebrate even small steps in growth. They spend a tremendous amount of time studying each student to determine the best way to reach and teach them. Many schools give lip service to differentiating instruction for each student. SFJA actually does it. Three years later, my daughter is a different person. She holds her head up. She speaks with everyone at school, and has developed a sassy, positive attitude. She loves the staff, and regularly goes to speak with the principal about issues she is struggling with. She has learned to tackle difficult projects, and to have more confidence in herself. Yesterday she even completed an application for a job at a local store! She has made great strides academically as well. Due to her developmental delay, she lagged behind grade level in most subjects. By the beginning of her second year at SFJA, she reached grade level in language-based academics. And by the end of this year, she was moving up in mathematics as well - not quite on grade level, but getting close!”

“The best!! The Gansburg’s are such a special family that have opened their arms to my family and I for meals, classes, and Jewish engagement. Chabad Palmetto Bay is our home away from home. I am forever grateful for the guidance and support Chabad Palmetto Bay has provided me in my Jewish journey!”

“Nice facility. Need to do a better job about the food. The last if I Fahbregren featured rubber chicken. Good selection the booze though. Spend a little bit more rabbis you don't need to serve lousy food. Just because it's kosher doesn't make it good”

“Mt. Sinai is very quiet..... and well maintained. As with many Jewish Cemeteries, it's on the decline a bit; Jews no longer live in the area and few people come to visit. Younger children for the most part have moved away or choose cremation these days. It's sad, but dont expect "special treatment" just because you decided to stop by...... There are usually few staff to help you - and sometimes only one. They will readily provide you with the location of the grave(s) you are looking for and there is a large map on the wall as you enter the Office - the Cemetery is very well laid out on a grid pattern with the sections noted (A, B, C, etc) and the individual plots. NOTE: Just keep in mind that each plot on the map is for SIX graves so you cant just count what appears to be three "rows" of plots from the road on the map - since there are at least TWO rows within a single plot - once you figure it out, it's pretty easy to find the graves/stones you are looking for.”

“It’s a wonderful place to be Jewish. The services as spiritual, warm and inviting. A compassionate and intelligent Rabbi who treats every member like he has known them forever, because he truly wants know YOU. The sense of “Family” gets stronger with each moment you’re in the building. Amazing programs which are getting better and better, including Shabbat dinners, Holiday events and meals, Torah study, a fantastic Hebrew school and Pre-School. I’m so happy to be a part of the family.”

“I started to go to Temple Beth David again after a long absence. I needed to be in touch with God as I feel so alone since my wife died on September 5th 2022. I saw some old friends and made some new friends. After services they had a brunch where I was able to get fresh bagels with cream cheese and lox.”

“Very nice services. The building is versatile too. It's capable of hosting receptions. I've attended multiple Bar and Bat Mitzvahs there and am not a member of the congregation. The rabbi seems to be very dedicated, although he can't quite grow that beard in. The kids and families seem to really like him. The cantor is fun and plays the guitar.”

“It was a very tight knit community which I loved to see. Of you saw my reviews on some hotels based in Sarasota and Tampa, you'll see that I had a broken foot. This synagogue was extremely accommodating. I just did not see this as a traditional synagogue with there being drums and tambourines and other instruments during meaningful prayers. Whoever the rabbi was is one of the best I have ever seen as well!”
