“My partner and I rented this property for a long weekend. The place was very clean and the location was exactly what we were looking for, being directly on the Gulf beach! When you open the blinds on the front windows all that you see is ocean, from a fourth-floor view! It was gorgeous! It is also within walking distance to a few restaurants and a brewery. Perfect spot to watch the sunsets each evening. We will definitely stay here again in the future.”

“Low tide tiki bar was such an awesome experience, so glad we did this during our stay in Sarasota! Your able to bring your own drinks and snacks which was nice, I would suggest definitely doing this during the day so your able to get in the water and also see the dolphins and sting rays! Matt was the best he made us feel so comfortable and had so many fun facts he shared about the island! Overall awesome time and if your are thinking about doing it, JUST DO IT!”

“I believe we stayed in #4, not #2. We stayed at the piney nook cottage for our honeymoon. The location was perfect as it had direct access to the beach. It was very close to restaurants and other attractions. The only issue we had during our stay was ants, many many tiny ants crawling on the kitchen counters but I was able to rid of them on our first nights stay. We had no other problems for the entire duration. It was very quiet, very cozy. The cottage included everything we may need, though my husband was looking for a meat thermometer and couldn't find one. We will most likely return in the future.”

“The house is absolutely amazing. Brian has provided everything you could possibly need. 4 kayaks!!! We had a blast. Drive to Clearwater beach. It’s about a hour drive but the view along the way keeps you very entertained. We had dinner at the Silver Dolphin like recommend, definitely a MUST go. Sit outside by the canal and feed the fish and turtles while you wait for the food! If you plan on fishing, live shrimp or cut mullet was what we had the best luck with. Cast right out in front of the dock across the canal for an instant bite! We will be back ASAP!! It is a very quite and calm neighborhood so make sure to be respectful to everyone else living there. Thanks Brian!”

“Let me preface this review by saying I wish I could give them a 4.5 stars rating. Coming from Baltimore, I understood that Clearwater (CW) Beach was a place for enjoyable beach life. Setting expectations, the diving here doesn’t have vibrant reefs or an schools of multicolor fish - Florida and Clearwater Aquariums are better for that locally. I come annually to CW Beach on holiday to escape cold, wet Baltimore in March. What you will get on site is a crew of solid divers/sailers eager to help out. Cpt TJ, DM instructors Dallas / “Llama” & Matt are all solid people I’d dive with again. Water was 71’F (which I find chilly) so they let me borrow a 7mm wetsuit. They provided weights and tanks as well. Dove with them yesterday and last Friday. Was able to see a Goliath grouper, schools of hundreds of fish and various crabs. Reef itself isn’t in great shape and visibility was mixed but the dive sites we hit (two wrecks and two ledges) still made for a good diving experience. If you’re eager to learn spearfishing, “Llama” is even more eager to teach it to those who have their buoyancy well-controlled! Looking forward to diving with them (“2Shea Charters”) next time, and perhaps learning spearfishing in doing so! (I pulled half of a star in rating b/c being short-staffed, nobody answered my calls/texts in advance to answer my Q’s prior to the dive.)”

“There is a cruise here that takes you to a tour in Whitewater Bay. Before stepping into the cruise you will see animals coming to the water surface for breathing. Do not worry, even though they look like alligator, but yhey are not! They are manatees and they are herbivore. The most interesting thing you can see in the tour is dolphins. If you are lucky enough, you will see them and you may catch them while playing around the cruise. Alligators and crocodiles are another interesting item here. If the weather was not too col, in December/January, you will be able to see them too. The tour guide will help you to spot different birds and animals. There is around 300 different bird species living in Keys. You can spot some very beautiful birds here. The cruise price is $40 per adult and if you are visiting in December/January, take some winter cloth, since it could be cold on cruise board.”

“Captain Bill and Captain Mike were 5 star. They accommodated our large group with ease. Took time to answer all our questions and shared their knowledge of the Everglades. We had a blast searching for gators. They kept things super fun and were very hospitable. Thank you for a memorable experience that the whole family enjoyed!! If you are reading this and thinking about booking a tour, this is your sign to do it! You’ve found the right place!”

“The absolute BEST - a must if you are traveling to Anna Maria Island, Bradenton, or Sarasota! Captain Billy is the best host, knows all of the secret spots to see dolphins, catch fish, snorkel on sandbars, and more! He even cleaned our fish for us so we could enjoy it at our rental that evening!! We have now sailed with him twice and it's been a highlight for our family both times. Can't wait to visit and book BigWili again!”

“What can we say except ... Stellar Stay Again! We've returned for the third year to this special place & shall be returning again! Each year, we meet up with beach friends from years past to enjoy the sun, sea, sand & relaxation! Ann is the perfect hostess ... always making sure your needs are met & the Shack is in perfect order for your stay! There's easy access to close restaurants with shopping nearby - and plenty of places to explore (if that's your interest). This is a very quaint unit and is certainly not the most modern - there's no need for a pool or exercise facility when there the beach right in front of your eyes but it is absolutely perfect with everything needed for your stay - towels are plentiful & dishes are too - the king bed is comfy & there's adequate places for your clothes. In our years, we've been lucky to travel from Europe to Hawaii to many places in the US ... but every year The Shack calls us back and welcomes us with open arms! We are always sad to depart but always planning for our next visit to our special spot here ... perhaps our next hamburger on the grill and for sure, our next beautiful Shack Sunset!”

“I need a six or seven star option. Captain Joe was fantastic. I have family in the area, but it had been too cold to show them any of the water adventures I love so much in Florida and most of my last minute ideas were booked. Then I ran into Salt and Mist and Captain Joe really delivered. I’ve been on a dozen of these and while they are all enjoyable, Captain Joe gave us something special, taking us all the way out to and under the Skyway bridge when I asked about it. Sunset on the water, finally getting under the Sunshine Skyway and lots of dolphin magic on the way back. Personable, knowledgeable, and safe but bold, he gave us an awesome experience and we look forward to our next adventure with Salt and Mist.”

“My husband and I visited the island & home for the first time and were not disappointed. The home is perfect for two families (or more) with kids. The pool area is beautiful & private surrounded by palm trees. The beach and trolley stop is a close walk. The home has a washer & dryer which is a huge plus. We love the rooftop and plan to return again.”

“I stayed in “Endless Summer” beachfront condo in March and it was fabulous! Super clean, most comfortable reclining leather sofa for evening downtime, all the fixings for a perfect cup of coffee in the morning without having to run to the the store! Even disposable coffee cups I could take outside. With a full wall of sliding doors in the living room, you wake up to the most beautiful ocean sunrises! Shannon & Rick are wonderful hosts, clear communication leading up to and during my stay. I would definitely return and recommend to my friends who are looking for a place in New Smyrna Beach!”
