I run an AK Platform, and I am trying to upgrade it, to make it more ergonomic. Dave took a look at my upgrades, made several recommendations, and not only installed the upgrades I wanted, but made suggestions I had not even considered. He installed everything greatly enhancing the platform’s function. His craftsmanship is unparalleled. He made specific custom changes to the pieces, that could not have been accomplished by many in his field. I would highly recommend this business for any of your firearm, or gunsmithing needs. They are in the process of opening and transferring their operations to a much larger location in Brunswick. I am excited to follow them in their further expanded operations.
Guys and gals, we are losing a huge resource here in Camden and I'm sorry I only recently found them. I'm so used to "gunsmiths" saying they only work on an AR or a Glock. This was the real deal. This guy had an honest to goodness shop in the back with lathe, hydraulic press, paint booth and media cabinet, and everything one should have to run a real gunsmithing business. And the cherry on the sundae is that he actually knows how to use everything. They will be moving to Brunswick soon and guess what, I will be making the drive.
Jim and Dave were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They stuck with me through my lack of knowledge about firearms and walked me through it. They also had good advice for military life and navigating career plans in the military! Much appreciated guys!!
Hands down, the BEST gunsmith (dare I say the only TRUE gunsmith) around! David is amazing and is extremely knowledgeable about guns (as well as engineering, physics, the law, and probably way more than that). He and his team did an amazing job customizing my S&W M&P M2.0 Compact. He fitted a match barrel, milled the slide, customized a precision trigger, added custom engraving, stippled the frame, and Cerakoted the entire project. I couldn't be happier with the results; see for yourself in the attached photos. He also did a Cerakote and stipple job on my Remington 850, repaired an old .22 rifle I wanted to keep for sentimental value (my first gun), and is currently building me a custom, lightweight 300 blackout AR pistol. If you want the best gunsmith to work on your project, then look no further! As for me, I only trust the best to work on the firearms to which I trust my life and the lives of my family members. Oh yeah, and did I mention they make custom ammunition, as well? Hands down, the best around!
They have all 5star reviews for a reason. Took my micro AK for possible work and David opened my mind to all the different things we could do to it. At first I was a bit skeptical about what he was saying but after testing one of his other AKs, it won me over and earned my business. Will be the only gunsmith I plan on going to
