(June 18, 2022, 2:01 pm)Yum! Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. Pulled pork was lean and delicious. Green Beans, Mac n Cheese, and Potato Salad were excellent and had no onions. Banana Pudding and Peach Cobbler were amazing. The place was clean and well taken care of and the owner was so friendly. We ended up in this area by way of a Google detour between Daytona Beach and Georgia and we will definitely be back.
(May 10, 2022, 2:37 pm)What a great hidden gem. We were motorcycling the back roads, stopped for gas and this guy overheard us talking about getting something to eat. He offered to "carry us over there" - which is southern for follow me!
We were not disappointed.
Don't let the small "shed like" building scare you off. This place is cooking up authentic Georgia BBQ. I like their twist on the mustard style sauce. I'm.not usually a fan of Georgia mustard based sauce, but Dap's put their own twist on it. Still honors the traditional mustard flavor, but not using the sauce to cover up poor cooking. Their pork was perfectly cooked and fat and grizzle free.
A refreshing experience and cool experience that a customer wanted us to have the experience and the owners delivered everything this loyal customer promised. Can't wait to pass this way again.
(February 12, 2022, 2:28 pm)Small place, reasonable service, tasty mustard based Pulled pork. Banana pudding excellent. Mac and cheese prevents a 5star review. It’s like a velveeta KFC style and could be improved with a more homemade flavor.
(February 8, 2022, 6:32 pm)We were vising family in town and stumbled across Dap's. The food was fantastic!!!! My mouth is watering just thinking about those ribs again. IDK if the sauce is house made, but if it is let me know when y'all start selling it cause I'ma need a few bottles.
(July 9, 2021, 4:15 pm)Yummy. We got the pulled pork and burgers. It's a small place but the food was good after a day of walking through the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge. The BBQ was AMAZING!
The banana pudding was just the thing to get us going for our drive back to Atlanta, GA. We kept ordering more. (the kiddos usually share but the all wanted their own)
The Arnold Palmer drink was satisfying.
