The Retreat at Canton

My mother is just thriving at The Retreat at Canton. The entire staff is so welcoming & cater to all my mother's needs. I would highly recommend The Retreat to any looking for a wonderful place for a family member.

The Retreat at Canton is not the first facility my Dad has been in but it is truly the only one I’ve felt comfortable with and feel he’s in a safe and healthy environment . I also feel for the first time he’s being taken care of. I’m pleased to say that the facility is managed well, supportive , friendly and engaging. Blake and Michelle have been wonderful to our Dad and the rest of the family.

We moved my mother to The Retreat in early May of 2022 (actually Mother's Day weekend). She had been at the same facility for 9 years prior to moving. The Retreat has been very attentive to her specific needs. And we are very thankful for that. It's also much closer to our home, allowing my family to visit more often. I think that has lifted mom's spirits and ours as well.

My mom was a resident at the Retreat this year until her recent passing. Early this year she transitioned from living alone in her large home to The Retreat. Her new apartment there was beautiful, adorned with many of the items from her home. During her stay there she had grown to love the wonderful staff at the Retreat who took such great care of her. Our family developed a relationship with many of the staff members and we were so comforted that our mom was in such a loving and safe environment. We knew she was in the right place. We are so grateful to the loving staff at the Retreat and will always remember our experience there.

My 99 year old mother is a new resident at The Retreat and we are very pleased. She has lived in several different senior communities and says that this is her favorite (and she is a pretty hard -to -please person). The food is good, there are lots of activities, and the staff is caring and very responsive. So far, so good!
