CANVAS café & bakery

This place is amazing! We got the chicken biscuit meal and the tacos meal to go with potatoes and grits. The grits were phenomenal - haven’t had such good grits in a long time. The chicken on the biscuit was also HUGE. What a big fillet.

We then went downstairs to doughnuts and dollies. We got a hibiscus and a birthday cake doughnut and molasses cookies. They were all super fresh and tasty. We used to go to sublime all the time to get doughnuts, and swore it was the best. I’d say this place is even fresher and less crazy busy! There are a few locations, definitely don’t pass up trying it since both locations that I know of are pretty tucked away (Marietta & Howell Mill).

Also - got a latte at Canvas too while there and it was really good. I got and iced lavender latte with Oatmilk. Not many coffee spots I go to have lavender as an option, so I always love when I see it.

Canvas is a cafe with a nice menu. I ordered the breakfast tacos but without the flour tortillas making it gluten-free. Those breakfast tacos were DELICIOUS. But the breakfast potatoes were just okay. The oat milk latte was also okay.
Service was good.

The cafe is very clean and spacious. The cashier at the counter was pleasant and welcoming. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel along with a cup of coffee. The coffee was amazing and the sandwich was decent. I would return to try some of the other menu items for sure.
