Disclaimer: my hair is locked. Not many people are brave enough to touch them, and I’m extremely picky when it comes to maintenance. I came in wanting to cut my hair. When I say “cut,” I mean shave it. All of it. Completely gone. I started to fall out of love with my locks, always begrudgingly pulling them into a big knot on the top of my head to keep them out of the way. With what courage I could muster up, I booked an appointment at NiColoure.

Upon arrival, I immediately noticed how clean the salon was. The environment was welcoming with decorated walls and a variety of products on display. She sat me down and inspected my scalp, the pattern my locks lay in, and she assured me that we would work through the experience together. After agreeing to the idea she had in mind, the cape went on, and the clippers came out.

Nichole was able to shave the sides of my head to relieve my neck and scalp from the weight of my hair, paying close attention to the sections and evenly shaving each side with care and precision. When I felt the weight (literally) come off my shoulders, I felt beautiful again. I looked in the mirror and saw a new version of myself; I felt proud to have my locks again.

Nichole is amazing at what she does. Beautiful work and very professional. I’m Brazilian with curly hair so my hair texture is a little different. I always dreaded going to salons because of it. Every time I went to get my hair colored at other places they made me feel like such a burden and the color just never came out right. With Nichole it was the complete opposite. When I say that Nichole is a miracle worker, I mean she TRULY makes miracles happen.. She made my hair look and feel better than it EVER has. I'm pretty particular about my hair but I would seriously relinquish all hair-related decision making to this woman and blindly trust her 1,000% to do what she thought would be best. She asked me what I wanted, I sent her a general idea and she made it a reality. I won't be going anywhere else.

Extraordinary!!! Nichole is extremely talented & creative; a true artist. Earlier in the year I wanted to mix it up a bit (no clue what I wanted, just something different). So, I just sat in her chair & gave her complete creative freedom to do whatever: 10/10 recommend.
She knows what looks good and what will work with your needs, style, and life. Nichole is highly efficient, professional, knowledgeable, & thorough: not only during the salon visit, but with after care tips, management, product recommendation/uses, etc. Definitely my "go-to" for a touch up trim, fresh fade, color, toner, really anything.
Also, she's literally the only person I will let wax my eyebrows.

After years of leaving salon after salon, not being satisfied with the color blonde I’ve wanted, Nichole is the only hairstylist to give me exactly what I asked for to a tee. My hair is the best it’s ever looked in its entire life. I have been to the biggest and “best” salons.
