“Spacious trail I have ever walked on. Didn’t need to compete with the bikers. So quiet and shaded. Great Summer location to hike. Little short only 3 miles. But will be back to try those intermediate level trails. Should add up to 5 miles.”

“Nice little trail. Playground was fairly shady when we were there, mid-day Spring. Primarily a baseball complex, but great to visit during non-game times.”

“I play softball here, my plan was to play Senior league. I play coed, park is clean has a clean snack bar. Cobb County sports are very organized and informative. I was notified in an appropriate time for registration. Brody is a very good director. I have really enjoyed playing with a very diverse team, mostly very talented players!¡!”

“A really nice place to walk in the woods. I’m from a rural area so this place felt nostalgic as I used to run around woods like this behind my house as a child. Feels like going on an adventure once you move into the trees. Godzilla (the dog) loves all the logs to jump over/crawl under and dip her feet in the water. There were a few snakes out there.”

“This park is AWESOME! Expect it to be busy because of it being so cool, but my little ones had a blast here. We went to the splash park first, great for toddlers or younger children, then let them dry off over at the playground. The roller-coaster swing is very unique and a crowd favorite for obvious reasons, but the rest of the playground doesn't disappoint either. Wish they had shade for us parents though... 😪”

“I was certainly excited to return to this area. This is one of the prettiest areas to walk around, picnic and even to get some historical information about this wonderful site. No matter what, it is most certainly a beautiful place throughout your walk/hike/journey all the way to the summit too discover. It's peaceful and truly enjoyable no matter what you choose to do with your time there. If you have found my review helpful please give me a thumbs up 👍 and feel free to follow me for future reviews.”

“It is true that it is posted as Cobb County property and not to trespass. That being said...lol...if you'd like to walk around it a bit, I would recommend turning into the bus entrance just past or just before (to the right/east) of the Lockheed Elementary School entrance on Merritt Rd. (Obviously do not do this during school hours.) Looking at Google Maps, the bus entrance is the little Merritt Rd that hugs the greenspace. The gated/posted entrance to the greenspace is at that elbow turn, which you will pass, and just after it on the right is a turn-in to a little parking lot, where you can park and then just walk back up to the greenspace entrance. There is a short gravely loop (not shaded) around this lower portion of the greenspace (check it out on satellite view), but it connects with the sewer line trails in the woods and along the creek that give you many options for an extended hike. Do not go shortly after a rain, or prepare to get muddy.”

“Alvin Myint (family Service Counselor) Was wonderful he showed up on time and was very professional and friendly. He worked fast and smiled the entire time. Our client was so happy after this meeting was over. The paperwork came in a beautiful folder and came back the same day. Making the first payment was a breeze and Alvin was able to get our client on a payment plan that was affordable.”

“Haven't been here in years. The first thing we see is this super awesome zip line swing. The only down fall is a parent has to pull it back up for smaller kids. My little guys could barely get it. Thankfully a dad was there to help all the kids.”

“4 stars due to limited parking since the lot can accommodate about maybe 20 cars. We got there at 10:30am on a nice weather Sunday and the lot was full. But luckily after waiting for a few minutes someone came out and we were able to park after they left. $5 parking fee if you don’t have the annual chattahoochee parking pass. The trail was really nice and wooded. It had some more challenging/hilly parts and some flatter easier parts. You get to walk along Morgan falls so you’re next to the water for a good amount of the trail but you might encounter snakes close to the water as well so be alert.”

“Great outdoor area. This area can become quite busy as it's near the parking lot, but the further you get into the woods the less people that are around (with exception of near the creek). Personally I always came in at another trailhead location as this parking area requires that you pay in cash, and who still uses paper money these days? Given they had no way to accept modern payment I always parked up the street and walked. There are many access points along the sidewalk on along the road towards the school and over the bridge if this is an issue for you as it was for me. Great area though and seems well maintained by conservationists.”

“Great trail for everyday exercise. Beware of snakes, but that makes for a good experience if you can respect nature. There are always some nice flowers or great views of the river and lots of nice people with their pets and or bikes.”

“My husband and I met with Mary Beth to plan our final resting place. She was patient, thorough, kind and caring. She helped me execute plan following my husband's passing. The company provides resources to help families with next steps following the death of a loved one. Additionally, the location is beautifully maintained. I would definitely recommend Kennesaw Memorial Park to family and friends.”
